Rugged and stylish, the Beacon is designed for comfort even with heavy loads and harsh conditions. An ultra-soft, padded laptop compartment deftly protects and carries up to 18” laptops while still leaving enough room in the main compartment for a gaming console and accessories. Comfort and balance are maintained, even under heavy loads, thanks to the Beacon’s 5-point balance strap system and aero-flow padded back and shoulder harness.

The spacious main storage compartment features a large zippered pocket, dividers, and an assortment of multifunction accessory slots. Cons: Coming apart at the seams Other Thoughts: I paid 100.00 for this laptop bag to fit my 17.3 inch laptop and it does it with absolutely no problem. However, just like SO MANY other reviews for this bag, the seams are starting to fray and split open. There is no way I would carry my laptop and xbox 360 in this bag due to the fact the seams would not hold up due to the extra weight of the xbox 360. Did you find this review helpful? The laptop compartment easily fits a LARGE, gaming 17.3 in SAGER laptop. The laptop compartment is felt lined protecting your laptop for scratches. The many pocket has plenty of compartments. The included console pouch is very nice and I have used it many times to transport my xbox. The included water proof cover also works very well and is easy and quick to install over the backpack in case of rain. The cover easily stores in the hidden pocket at the bottom of the bag. The backpack rests easily on the shoulders and back with well placed straps and supports. Cons: My only Con with this bag are the shoulder straps - after extended use they tend to tear. IMPORTANT - I have went through college with this bag and I overloaded it a great deal. As long as you do not sling the bag over your shoulder one handed you will not have an issue. Everski's customer service is great tho if it does rip. My brother has the same laptop bag and he had to send his in to get repaired. They covered everything completely (except shipping). Other Thoughts: It is important to note - the compartments are very large. However, if you carry a game system and a gaming laptop, it is difficult to fit anything else in the bag. The most I have been able to fit is an original 360, 1.5" thick 17.3" gaming laptop, both power bricks (one for each system), a couple games, cables, and a controller. Large pocket for peripherals (I had a mouse, headset, power block for G73, camera, and various other items in there all the time). Relatively comfortable to wear for a long period of time. Cons: While it can house the Asus G73, it barely holds it. The top inch or so does not have the laptop sleeve protection (although, my laptop is not marred at all from this). Zippers started breaking after about 7 months of use. Thankfully it came free with my laptop purchase, but if I spent $100 on a backpack, I would expect it to come with stronger hardware. Other Thoughts: It's a decent "complimentary backpack", but if you're buying one for a gaming laptop or desktop replacement, I'd look elsewhere. Looks great even though I have owned it for this long. I mainly bought it to carry my over sized laptop AsusG75 and fits great. I also use it for college so it fits my books WITH my laptop. Also has a nice Concsole gaming bag. I use it to carry other thing but it is a nice feature. The rain guard works well. Anyways great comfortable bag with lots of room to spare that looks amazing. Very comfortable to wear. Sleek and fashionable. Does everything a backpack can possibly do. Plenty of extra pockets and places to put things. Has an AUDIO VENT for your phone so you can hear it in the backpack. Genius. Cons: Does NOT fit up to 18" my 17.3 actually stretches the corners and is a pain to put in and take out. It fits better in the pocket that is NOT for laptops but is supposed to hold your pens/school stuff. Even then it is a stretch. Buyer beware. Anything smaller than 17.3 would fit perfect and the backpack is perfect otherwise and still works with the 17.3 it is just a pain. Other Thoughts: Everki apparently sells some serious backpacks. The removable padded gaming console cover makes a perfect cover for my second laptop as I travel with an Asus G53 and a Lenovo Thinkpad. Lot's of extra space for books and accessories too. Stitching and ballistic nylon has held up very well under all the weight. Balances nicely on your shoulders and back.
