5 out of 5 eggsvery nice laptop

Pros: Great package for an i3 processor, 500GB HDD, DVD player built in and 4 GB memory which I easily upgraded to 8GB by adding a cheap 4 GB memory card. There wasn't a lot of bloatware included either. I'm using this as a backup laptop, but there's no reason why this shouldn't be my primary laptop.

Cons: none so far

3 out of 5 eggsBad Keyboard

Pros: Lots of bang for the buck on features. Lenovo has been generally strong in that area lately. Great for general NON-Rugged use.

Cons: Not even close to the ruggedness of a ThinkPad. Keyboard freaked out on one after a day (cheaper components). Had to RMA 1 and install windows fresh on another.

Other Thoughts: Great if it only moves from the desk to the couch or anywhere in the house. Doesn't travel well.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Keyboard
Trackpad
Features

Cons: Speakers

Other Thoughts: Great laptop in a cheap shell. The speakers are terrible. Waiting to put the extra 4gb stick I bought to see how much faster it can be. Overall a good machine with some nice features like the energy mode.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Unit!!!

Pros: Sleek Design, Knock Out Bang for the Buck!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: For the price I feel as if I might have robbed the folks at Lenovo. This thing is fast and does everything I need it to do. If your an Office Manager or Business Professional and need something that is inexpensive and reliable then look no further. Let this IBM Lenovo take you to work :)

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: big keyboard
island keys
hdmi and vga
small power supply
i3 performace (i5 doesnt help me and i7 not worth it)
bumpy touchpad
metal handrests

Cons: brown looks black (not sure if really a con)
screen not matte finish (knew it had glossy going in, so still 5 eggs)

Other Thoughts: The island type keyboard is the best. The buttons actually have space between them, which I like. I was worried that the keyboard would be to small for my big hands, especially because of the number pad, but not a problem, plenty big. The hdmi worked automatically with my old tv, while my hp didnt work at all (both on win7). The brown color looks black unless you are in super strong light. The touchpad has the nice bumps for easy sliding of your finger. Metal handrests feel nicer than plastic. I expected the brown color to be dark brown but its really like metallic black with a slight tint.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Laptop!

Pros: Big screen, boots quickly, minimal bloatware that is easily removed, not too heavy, HD and RAM appear easy to access.

Cons: Aside from it being a finger print magnet, none whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I am going to wait a little bit longer too be sure everything works then install Linux Mint 13.

Shipping was very quick and free, thank you Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little Laptop

Pros: Its a great little laptop for the price also like how light it is.

I have always been very happy with Lenovo have sold alot of them at my shop.

I did clean install for customer makes it run alot better. Easy upgrade to 8Gigs since system comes with 1 4Gig stick. Also like how easy it is to get at the HDD, Ram, Wifi and CPU makes fixing it or upgrading it down the road so much easier.

Cons: I dont have any cons for the price you pay it is great laptop.

Other Thoughts: Windows Scores Not bad for a laptop.

Processor 6.7
Memory 7.2
Graphics 4.7
Gaming graphics 6.1
Primary hard disk 5.9

2 out of 5 eggsRam

Pros: looks nice

Cons: Too Expensive for the value

Other Thoughts: Is The Ram Expandable, 4gb is the new standard or starting point ? how about 8gb.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: Intel HD Graphics 3000 to my surprize were able to handle MMO games such as Vindictus and Dragon Nest, although not too great detail.
Cheap, but fast, well built never overheats (had HP dv series and it almost gave me burns)
Decent battery life
All in all a good low end laptop for starters

Cons: Speakers could be better, resolution is a little funny when you compare it to HD screen variants. The camera is low rez and is usually dim, had to compensate with excess lighting

Other Thoughts: The lenovo face recognition module is a pain, it loads everytime you start the laptop, slowing it down and takes the focus away from the keyboard based password input. I never used this feature but didn't disable it for a possibility of later use.
