Pros: It worked ok for a while.

Cons: In under a year the hard drive gave out. And it stopped working entirely

Other Thoughts: Lenovo customer service sucks too.

Pros: Aesthetics, discrete video card, speakers sound great

Cons: Mouse is horrible and wifi was non functional until driver was updated, screen is not bright enough

Other Thoughts: I would not buy this machine again.

Pros: Good device.

Cons: Mouse pad did not work. Company did not want to replace it.

Pros: graphics card,dvd player,looks like a mac(sort of),core i5.

Cons: track pad,battery.

Other Thoughts: this is a great laptop.the battery isn't that bad and I usually keep it plunged in anyway. The track pad isn't that much of a problem if you have a mouse.

Pros: Classy looking laptop and overall materials used. I love the feel of the keys and the action of the keyboard. I have no problems with the trackpad. Plenty fast for my needs; browse the internet, documents, presentations, netflix, and Team Fortress 2.

Cons: I'm still looking for a fix for the Intel N1030 network card, possibly the built-in bluetooth makes Internet painfully slow at times. No backlit keyboard, but now I'm just nit picking. No SD card slot, it's a big thing but nothing that a couple of USB adapters can't fix. *No built-in 200watt subwoofer either. *sarcasm*

Other Thoughts: Excellent product. The slot loading dvd-drive sold me on the product, I don't like trays. I need it for group projects and such for cheap media distribution.

Pros: It's a great looking laptop. Very fast, and has great portability. One key recover is great.

Cons: I would have loved this laptop if it wasnt for the double finger scroll, which does not work AT ALL and is the only way to scroll using the touchpad. It just jumps around on the page when scrolling. I've tried to update it with the newest lenovo driver which didn't help, I then went on Lenovo message boards and tried to download an xps driver which just gave me the blue screen and made me use the one key recovery to fix it. Oh and I had to exchange it for a new one because it wouldnt spit my cd back out when hitting eject, although I don't think that's too big of a deal I think I just got unlucky. But the touchpad, ugh, completely ruins it for me.

Other Thoughts: So basically that's it, great laptop, TERRIBLE touchpad. I tried to return it but they wouldnt let me, hopefully I can get something for it on craigslist...If anyone knows of a fix that actually works please private message me. thanks.

Pros: Plenty of RAM for most computing and gaming needs, ULTRA PORTABLE, long battery life for those long school days.

Cons: No Microphone Jack

Pros: The desing is really nice, the cpu, ram, amd video is really nice for the price

Cons: It is my first time that i buy something from lenovo, i got my laptop and the screen wasn working well and there were an entire column of dead pixels, so i call newegg and they make an RMA, 15 days later i got another one i put a cd and the cd got stuck and i didnt came out, so call again to newegg they made another RMA and I am waiting for my third laptop and it will take 15 more days to get a new laptop.


From this now i can say i would never buy anythig from lenovo again.

Pros: -Blazing fast through casual/home use in windows, internet, media, pictures, multitasking, ect.
-Beautiful design
-Exceptional price, currently Best Buy has the identical model on SALE for $850
-Excellent cooling, have had this unit on my lap for 6-8 hours and still stays completely cool. Overall one of the coolest units I have ever used
-Contrary to prior nitpicks, this unit is NOT loud, NOR is the fan loud. In fact, compared to past HP units this is pretty silent
-WiDi is great and practical
-Excellent sound/speakers, very loud and clear
- Portability, .89 inches thin

Cons: - Battery life is not great.. will run about 4-5 hours depending on use
- Screen viewing angles could be better, shame to see them skimp on a screen on such an overall nice unit
- No SD/ multimedia card reader (Although you can get a portable USB one for 10$)
- Must manually switch between graphics dedication..slightly annoying
-Lots of people commenting on the touchpad for this unit. You all must rest your face on the touchpad when you type. Although it is a little jumpy, overall not terrible..but still enough to put it into the con category.
-Only other remote issue is start up time, not an ultrabook but will take about 40-50 seconds to boot..however not a single incidence of lag once started up in a month.

Other Thoughts: Sick of people nitpicking things to death or buying items expecting them to be totally different than what they are intended to be. This laptop was intended for the casual/high volume home/business user. This is NOT an ultrabook or gaming laptop, nor does it advertise to be one. However, it does handle some games decently. This laptop absolutely flies. If you want something with decent storage space, a beautiful overall look, incredible speed for web surfing, media, movies, pictures, and moderate-intense multitasking at an incredible value without hesitation buy this unit. Sold on Lenovo. Compare this unit to comparable laptops and you will find by FAR the best bang for your buck. Go ahead and look at benchmark and PC reviews saying this machine is "average performance" compared to other similar models. However, we are talking a difference of 3 seconds of load time or 4 FPS. This unit is ABSOLUTELY worth the price and highly recommended.
