Pros: Sturdy build and material. Parts perform well enough for what I need them to do. The laptop has actually survived quite easily two falls from 3 feet and about 5 feet. With the only damage being the case separating in two places slightly and the right side ports not working. I was expecting a no longer functioning laptop.
Cons: None to speak of, the keyboard layout could use some work though.
Other Thoughts: I purchased the Accidental Damage warranty when I bought the laptop and I am currently looking at getting it sent in for repair.

Rating: 2/5Freezes Up everyday
Pros: Looks Professional Sleek Look Easy to keep clean
Cons: I had my sisters fiance find my laptop for me and he is a big computer nerd. This computer has done nothing but give me trouble from day 1. It freezes up at least 2 times a day and the only way to get it to unfreeze is to shut it down and reboot it. I am constantly losing my work. I would not buy this computer again

Pros: Looks great and performs well
Cons: I f you spill anything on the keyboard you have to remove everything to get to it. I mean everything!!! The part is $$$$$.
Other Thoughts: Considering spills are one of the most common accidents you would think they would have considered this in the design

Rating: 1/5Bad choice
Pros: Slim and small
Cons: screen display gone wild a couple of times and the whole laptop crashed with blue screen also a couple of time with in days I purchased. It must be a manufacturing bad sample. This is really a bad experience for me.
Other Thoughts: Since I get the refund (minus the $100 for a bag as a "free" gift initially), I decided to but a thinkpad edge 430 instead. Hopefully the build quality can be improved.

Pros: Nice processor, nice graphics for the price, stylish looks and very comparative to apple's macbook pro, intelligent fan placement
Cons: disastrous trackpad which destroys the computers reputation, makes a wierd noise at startup, low screen resolution, keyboard is very small, no sd card slot, sturdy build quality but very untidy
Other Thoughts: Dell XPS 13 Cypress trackpad drivers work nicely and the trackpad now works just fine

Rating: 3/5Stylish, but not comfortable.
Pros: Very stylish looks sturdy you can open the lid with 1 finger without the bottom frame lifting Very nice webcam keyboard and speakers (webcam works native with OS X 10.8 which I found surprising) stays quiet, not hot except on the left side that warms up a little.
Cons: Wifi signal doesn't pass well through the aluminum frame, I need to get closer to my wifi AP's than with a plastic laptop The aluminum frame digs into my wrist leaving red marks, it's really irritating. When I type the touchpad activates so i have to arch my wrist in an awkward position. touchpad is oversensitive and feels cheap
Other Thoughts: System idles at 108 degrees Fahrenheit and doesn't get above 170. It could really use an SSD, most of the lockups I get are from the hard drive seeking so much.

Pros: This laptop is very good lookin'machine. It works perfectly, and these guys here that make bad reviews of it,they are not right.Probably becouse they don't know how to use it.The display is very bright and adequate.Touchpad is very big and looks very good in the middle. Not like the other laptops,a lil bit to the left :D Works fast, speakers are loud, the wireless is very strong, ventilation is actually the most important thing for me but that laptop has great one.So i just like it.Thanks newegg u are the best. 5 eggs for u and Lenovo u400
Cons: I don't have what to say.

Rating: 4/5good quality laptop
Pros: great unibody aluminum construction with excellent keyboard. Screen is good but not great like the zenbook or mac. very happy with purchase, esp for the price. Won't find any sub $500 computer with metal case and glass trackpad
Cons: all this talk about the cypress trackpad is true with the default driver; if you update it to a dell 15z laptop driver, the trackpad is just fine, not as smooth as a mac but much better than the original driver and with good palm rejection.
Pros: This computer is great for simple use, I got this to use solely for programming and development. Excellent price and performance for what I am using it for.
Cons: The cypress trackpad is a major let down. I am dual booting windows and Linux Mint; everything works well but there is little to know option for using the trackpad in mint except under generic ps/2 mouse driver. I should have done more research on this machine and seen that the trackpad is much different than the much better u300 series lenovo produces.
Other Thoughts: The battery doesn't hold a charge very long if the screen is on bright, and the warranty is voided if the bottom cover is removed to access the battery to replace or install any upgrades.

Pros: Came quickly, metal case.
Cons: Had a friend order this for his first newegg experience, came doa in what appeared to be an open box with all tabs holding the bottom down broken. I am hoping the rma will get this fixed and then I can give it a better review as it looked good.
Other Thoughts: Hope to see this unit working soon as it appears really nice.
