product difficulties upon arrival
Pros: Product looks nice, blue in colour, like the keys on the keyboard as they are easy to use
Cons: corrupted drivers on arrival and spent a few hours determining this, tech support was terrible and told me it was my network not their product so called again and got friendlier help but no solution so they directed me to another 1-800 # and 3rd call (2 hours later) determined the problem was corrupted network drivers and I had to reset to factory settings, once that was working the battery life showed less than 3 hours and it is supposed to be a 9 hour life so more tech support and I have to calibrate my own battery which is a long process. I found out through tech support that my computer was registered as a 3 months old already which affects warranty and it was never told to me I had to submit an invoice to update this. Keyboard is not a typical one as the enter key is quite far to the right and not a standard setup
Other Thoughts: If you don't like the technican, call again. Use 1-800-816-2237 to get better help with Acer.
