5 out of 5 eggsNo issues, good buy

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: * Good speeds
* Nice TP Link utility

Cons: * It is a bit big the receiver sticks out of the usb port by 8 cm and the antenna is 11.5cm long

Other Thoughts: I'm very happy. I originally bought the EDIMAX EW-7811Un, but the speeds were horrible even though I was very close to the router. Returned the product and spent a few more bucks buying this one. Now my desktop gets better speeds than my laptop.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent WiFi device.

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: Simple to install. To install you simply plug the USB WiFi device into an open USB slot on your computer. I actually installed this device on a Windows XP machine, this required me to install the drivers from the CD which was very simple to do and took all of 3 minutes.

Cons: None really. The cardboard box this item arrived in was hard to open without destroying the box. I did manage to get it open in one piece.

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggsTP-LINK WIFI USB ADAPTER

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: I have bought 4 of these so far and this is my first choice for a low priced quality adapter. I have had no issues with any of the 4 I have purchased. Highly recommend.

Cons: No Cons

Other Thoughts: If I need more Wireless N Adapters, this is what I will be buying.

I have used this on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 as well as Lubuntu Linux, Nexradix Linux, and a Raspberry Pi 2 with a 1.5amp power cord on the Raspberry Pi 2. All devices worked flawless with this.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: Way better signal then my built in wifi on my desktop.

Cons: Windows wipes the drivers sometimes. Keep a thumb drive handy with the drivers or keep the cd handy. I have had to reinstall the drivers twice in 1 year. Drivers say windows 8, but worked on my windows 10.

Other Thoughts: This has worked good, but I think I will go with Netgear next time. I had a TP link Router that stopped working on me, and the Netgear one is more then 8 years old and still working.

2 out of 5 eggsNo Windows 10 drivers for version

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: Cheap and works consistently in XP Pro.

Cons: *** NO WINDOWS 10 DRIVERS. *** The OEM states on their website as of this review (04/15/16) that there is no Windows 10 support for V1 but there will be for V2 in the future. I am unable to determine which version I have from a very thorough inspection of the physical product. Nor, have I been able to find version identification instructions on the OEM website. Also, when I originally installed this on XP Pro, I had to wrestle with the driver a bit but I did finally get it to work.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: Had this with the cradle that it came with for nearly 6 months. Several computers and operating systems with the router at the other end of the house. Never a problem.

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: When I do my next installation, this is the one I'll get.
