5 out of 5 eggsworks like it should

Pros: like any other wireless adapter it works...it goes through two walls/doors and still has a good signal. A lot better than I was expecting for the price. Since it's so big it comes with an extender cable so you don't have to take up 2 USB slots and depending on your IO panal your ethernet as well lol if it didn't come with this cable.

Cons: Really big so you either have to take up 2-3 slots or have it dangling from a usb cable.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fulfills my needs exactly (a wifi connector for a server sitting in a closet).

Cons: The USB device is rather large.

5 out of 5 eggsworth 7 bucks for sure

Pros: Connects and works and is actually a branded name product and the software is easy to configure although u don't have to use it.

Cons: Not the fastest. I am sort of nervous of having thios sticking outta the usb port on my daughters computer as it might get bumped and break off.

Other Thoughts: Well, after trying out and testing the limits of a 54 dollar dual antenna pci-e wireless card, it does seem pretty slow but for 7 bucks, it gets you on the internet, and from a pretty good distance!

4 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: works well without even installing the drivers. Win 7 64 bit recognized it right away and she fired right up! Cheap! For 8 bucks, my sons' are on the internet on their desktop upstairs in the "lkoft" without even messing with ethernet cabling or hassles.

Cons: The range isn't anything to write home about. It get's 3 to 4 bars upstairs which is only about 30 feet from the cable-modem and wireless router. I guess it only needs one bar to work.

Other Thoughts: Says it's an "encore" but is recognized as a rosewill so that's a good thing. With the exception of my THOR case, all rosewill electronics have worked flawlessly!

1 out of 5 eggsReally Poor

Pros: Can get you onto a network with some difficulty, convenient form factor. Very inexpensive.

Cons: Connects intermittently, seems to be in a constant state of connecting. Cheap plastic will not hold up to a bump or drop.

Other Thoughts: You really do get what you pay for, and in that way it's not the manufacturer's fault people want this quality. All in all it does function but I certainly wouldn't get another and wouldn't advise it for gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than my laptop's wifi

Pros: Better than my laptop's included wifi
Fast

Cons: It's kinda big, but I don't mind

Other Thoughts: Got it for $10 instead of the $20 normal price. I'm gonna be using this for a new build, but thought I'd try it out on my laptop first. Really good, would recommend to anyone needing wifi on their build.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's a good inexpensive solution to bring wireless to old machines. I used it with a G3 Powerbook without an airport card (which aren't made anymore and used ones are too pricey).

Cons: -Gets very hot
-Connection range

Other Thoughts: No issues with Win 7, Ubuntu, or OS X (PPC 10.3 and .4). Their website has drivers for the Mac which you'll need. So for a kitchen computer that looks up recipes, this is good. Didn't need drivers for Ubuntu-PPC.

5 out of 5 eggsConstant Use for More Than a Year

Pros: Rock-solid performance without issue for more than a year of 8+ hour-a-day use.

Cons: Fairly large for a USB WiFi adapter.

Other Thoughts: This was the cheapest option available for adding WiFi connectivity to my desktop when I bought it over a year ago. I have been using it non-stop ever since, and it has performed flawlessly for me. It's much larger than the newer products on the market, but that doesn't really matter for me as I have plenty of clearance behind my desktop machine.
