Cons: I bought 3. When i went to use the third it only got 0 to 1 bar, where the previous 2 got 4 bars. I was past the RMA period at this point, so i can't return it. I seems like there may be an antenna problem.
Other Thoughts: I really hate getting stuck with junk

Rating: 2/5Doesn't work as advertized
Pros: Quick setup, has WAN to LAN firewall feature.
Cons: Firewall doesn't work. Range is less than half the distance of my old TEW-452BRP unit (whose firewall does work).
Other Thoughts: Bought this to outfit another WAN address so we could see each others private HTTP servers using the WAN address to LAN address firewall. Few routers allow this type of filtering. My old TEW-452BRP works just fine and I bought this TEW-731BR because it was the only TrendNet with this featuure. To bad it doesn't work.
Manufacturer Response:
Hello Terks,
We are very sorry to hear that you had trouble with the router you recently purchased from us. We could work with you to set up port forwarding or DMZ for private HTTP servers access if you allow us to. Please contact me at adrian@trendnet.com with "Newegg TEW-731BR Product Review" in the subject line and I will assist you immediately to use . Thank you again for choosing TRENDnet Products.

Pros: cheap. easy setup.
Cons: limited range. drops connections like crazy.
Other Thoughts: worked fine for 3 months, then is started dropping connections like crazy. I a work in a computer company and not a tech newbie and this router really frustrates me. I guess you get what you pay for (and I should have paid more and get something more reliable).
Manufacturer Response:
Hi Curry - Please note that this was not our intention when we sold you this router. Please contact us at sales@trendnet.com ASAP so we can get a replacement out to you. Thanks for your support of TRENDnet products.

Rating: 2/5Worked great, until it didn't
Pros: Great price, great performance for 9 months...
Cons: ...until it stopped functioning reliably. Within the last week it just randomly drops wireless connections, though it usually restarts moments later. Constant interruption of service - until it stops completely, like it just did.
Other Thoughts: For the last 9 months it's been great; this problem came out of nowhere, though. How frustrating.
Manufacturer Response:

Rating: 3/5Disappointment....
Pros: 1. compact design 2. when it works, it works well 3. energy efficient
Cons: 1. drops internet connectivity often - even the PC that is hardwired by the LAN port loses connectivity 2. wireless speed isn't anywhere near advertised
Other Thoughts: I would hate to go and spend more money on a new router when this one is less than 9 months old. But it is frustrating to be in the middle of doing something on the web, and then just lose connection - for no reason.

Pros: Good range even through these horrible old cement like plaster walls, easy to set up, less than 20 bucks
Cons: signal range suddenly went drastically south and started fluctuating after 4.5 months, I bought this as a cheap replacement for a super old wireless router, intending on replacing it after a year or so but it malfunctioned a lot sooner than that
Other Thoughts: I basically bought this as a disposable router and was very pleased with the performance but it didn't last very long oops silly me I just bought another sub 20 buck trendnet router when will I learn

Rating: 2/5Junk - have to restart it constantly.
Pros: Easy to setup
Cons: Speeds degrade over time until you restart it. Websites eventually stop loading until you reset it. I am resetting it about every 1-2 days now. Yippy!

Rating: 5/5Updated Review
Pros: Runs Cool, Good Range, Keeps Connections. Price
Cons: None at this price point
Other Thoughts: A good home router should just work. It should work so well that you never have to touch it after set up. It should work so well that you forget what model you have. This router does just that. I have two wired computers, two wireless laptops, Xbox, Wii, 2 Iphones one Ipad and 2 Roku boxes for Netflix. All work flawlessly on this router. Cant ask for more

Rating: 2/5son I am disapoint
Pros: It's shiny and black. With lights on the front. Kinda reminds me of K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider.
Cons: been using it for 6 months. It's been this way since day 1. Internet cuts out intermittently every few minutes for 20-30 seconds. Just long enough to make me pull my own hair out. Connection to the router is maintained, but there is no internet connection. Android, Linux, iOS, Windows XP & 7. when it cuts out, the whole house sighs and waits for it to resume. feelsbadman.
Other Thoughts: I don't know why I rated this so low. It's about average for modern routers. Even the new generation Linksys routers don't compare to the early 2000's routers. The one area of technology that has fallen backward.
