5 out of 5 eggswired in plug and play

Pros: Plugeed it in and my bedroom became instantly wired. The imac and Xbox screamed to the max 25/10 download upload. wireless was spotty. Why didn't I do this years ago? Also used a wall adapter that splines out to 6 outlets, 3 top and 3 bottom. That is what I am getting full bandwidth on and no loss of outlets.

Cons: none so far

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect if you have one active outlet

Pros: We bought this due to our house only having one active cable outlet on the far side of the house. Most of our electronics were on the other side and the wireless fidelity was pretty poor by the time it go to our electronics.

I had heard about Ethernet of Powerline before and finally decided to try it out. It works great, we were getting about 2mb down prior to installing this and now are getting 10-15mb down (On a 15mb down stream connection from our provider).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great product, solid, works well.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Great

Pros: It was cheap.

Cons: Not fast enough for HD video but it works OK. Really, not much of an improvement over WIFI (if any) in speed.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: I have an LG smart TV which cant do anything without buffering. The software for the wireless must be poorly written because the PS3 can stream all day on it's wireless connection. I bought this and hooked it up and had streaming to the TV within 15 mins, no buffering at all!!!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Easy to install, have 4 ports, with priority labeled. Using the CD is a must if you have multiple powerline ethernet products on the same network. With multiple powerline ethernet products you need to install the cd and reconfigure how this product is going to work. I have 3 - Linksys, Trednet, and this one. So I first installed the CD. Assign a manual key, and then connected the adapter from orginal point to the 4 port destination point. Thats it no trouble after that. Easy connect.

Cons: Need some tech knowledge to solve the installation problem with multiple powerline ethernet products

5 out of 5 eggsawsome product

Pros: 4 port switch, plug it in and forget it..

Cons: none that i can speak of

Other Thoughts: this is neat. i picked this up at a local store for 45, for a bluray player that didn't have a wireless connection and this is way better then wireless. they say it has 200Mb/s connection, thats only between each node.

5 out of 5 eggsThank you Netgear!

Pros: Spectacular! Amazing! Reliable! Smart! Strike of Genius...

A few weeks ago I upgraded my High-speed Internet service for a faster bandwidth at my service provider. As a regular home-internet user I was expecting better speed right away through my wireless adapter. I was fool...

After contacting my provider they explained it how much interferences can be occurred by the numerous wireless routers in a street or in a large building. No matter how expensive router you purchase and what the specs promise...there are no miracles in the air.

So I told myself: It has to be a solution for my problem without buying a 150 feet CAT-5 cable and ruin up my living room, hallway and office. Then my Guardian Angel alias NEWEGG sent me a promotion email according to the Black Friday. That's where I found this incredible product on sale for only $49.99!

After 12 seconds thinking my cursor was on the SUBMIT button and I placed the order with lot of confidence and desperation. What can I lose for this amount of money? But if it works then it can change my life literally since I spend 8-10 hours at the computer daily.
(Hey kids, if you do the same then you should exercise something. I run 5 miles every morning...)

Cut long story short: open the box - plug both units into the wall - connect the cables and in 1 second! the connection is live.

Certainly the first website has to be the speedtest.net and after a gentle click on my bookmark toolbar I got there... then in the next 5 minutes I was under my desk trying to find my chin!

WOW!

I don't understand other reviewers who complain about speed or connectivity or who knows what blaming on, but this Beauty works properly out of the box!

Facts:
My rated internet speed is 25 Mbps from the provider.
I got MAXIMUM 14.4 Mbps through my wireless adapter. Let me tell you guys I've spent $200 on the router and the adapter to get a good result.
Now I get 24.8 Mbps constantly with this Adapter Kit!!!

Have the same problem plus want to connect your game console and internet TV? What are you waiting for???

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Just one: Life Is Good! :)

4 out of 5 eggsI am happy

Pros: Stable connection at a very reasonable speed.

Cons: Speed not up to the full spec - practical results of only 50-55 Mbps, but it is very stable and sustainable and I am happy. Provides great low latency connection where wireless bridges failed.

Other Thoughts: Combines well with the Western Digital model at the same speed. I am using them both and they interconnect without any problems.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Setting up everything was quick and easy. Pretty much just plug and play. The one draw back, if you could call it that, is giving up an outlet for it.

Cons: Not that I can think of. The LEDs are a little dim, but it's more of a gripe than a con.

Other Thoughts: The LED indicators on the front are a little dim, so sometimes it's a little difficult to check the status of the unit.
