Disc duplication made easy; that’s what you get with Xerox. The VP4690-XRDUP-7LS is a 1 to 7 duplicator that you can use on its own or plugged into your computer through a USB port. The 7 destination drive system speeds up the copy process, allowing 7 copies to be burned simultaneously. 128MB of buffer memory helps to ensure smooth, accurate data transfers.
The VP4690-XRDUP-7LS supports all CD and DVD formats and can duplicate single layer DVD±R/RW and Double/Dual Layer DVD±R formats for ultra-high performance! With LightScribe Technology, burn labels with your photos and your favorite text on the LightScribe compatible discs, for a unique look!
A 2-line LCD panel lets you know what’s going on at a glance. A set of control buttons makes it easy to control. Auto counter technology lets the display show the number of discs that successfully copied to help keep track of the work flow.
Nice with one problem with AUDIO CDs
This review is from: Xerox Silver 1 to 7 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 10X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 40X CD-R 32X CD-RW CD/DVD Duplicator LightScribe Support Model VP4690-XRDUP-7LS
Pros: 1. Can create CD/DVD iso images on computer and transfer through USB to duplicators hard-drive, eliminating need for master to be physically created on host computer and then put in duplicator.
Cons: 1. Apparently there are MANY options of VinpowerDigital/Xerox and I did not get the latest option (should be feature).
Other Thoughts: You can work around AUDIO/ISO/NRG issue by physically burning Audio CD to disc on host computer with burning software (Nero, etc), placing that disc in duplicator master tray, making duplicator image proprietary VDI/VEF to duplicator's internal hard drive, switch usb connection back on, and upload to PC for safe keeping and tracking of AUDIO CDs. VDI/VEF can not be used by computer, but it can be downloaded back to duplicator and duplicates can be made with THOSE VDI/VEF file(s). I'm going to be making a couple different AUDIO masters a week and I'm afraid I'll have track NRG & VDI/VEF files for audio. Thankfully everything works as it should with ISO images.
