5 out of 5 eggsdecent DVD/CD READER-ONLY

Pros: Works as a replacement in my customers' older P4 system with a failing DVD burner.

Cons: Doesn't burn, a little noisy...

Other Thoughts: I should have paid closer attention and noticed that it doesn't BURN...My bad. For about $4 more I could have gotten a burner...Live and learn.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought 2 of these drives for different PC's and they both work great. No problems so far. Very simple, plug and play. Recommend this product to anyone in need if a great, cheap drive.

Cons: Does run kinda loud when reading a CD but if thats all then who really cares?? I sure don't. As long as it reads the CD's I put in is all I want it to do.

2 out of 5 eggsDestroyed one of my favorite games.

Pros: Good price, did everything i asked it to.

Cons: was playing Final Fantasy Tactics using ePSXe, working fine till i heard a loud buzz, followed by an even louder POP! Had no idea what happened at first, then i went to eject the disc and it wouldn't work. i opened it manually with a paper clip and the shattered remains of my original FFT disc spilled all over the floor. Much cursing ensued.

Other Thoughts: I know what you are thinking, "you shouldn't have been playing playstation games on you PC anyway" but i had done this a thousand time on other computers with no problems.
