Doesn't take much to mention this in the product description. Do not assume a person knows that an OEM product comes with no software. Other Thoughts: I guess I am lucky I already have a copy of the DVD software to reload. Cons: IDE Other Thoughts: Newegg was all out of sata dvd/cd roms so I ended up purchasing this. Ended up returning this because a few days later Newegg had sata in stock.
