2 out of 5 eggs32 Days later

Pros: Sounded decent when I got them, not spectacular but decent. Was half off so I figured what the heck. Cables/wireing were solid and felt pretty strong. Earbuds that have many replacements included and a cool pouch to carry them around with.

Cons: Left ear bud started crackling 2 days past the 30 day return period. Tried different mp3/sound systems all with the same results. Newegg forwared me to Monster's support line and I have arranged to send back the earbuds (at my own expense unfortunately, but since they are small it won't cost much). Will update as situation unfolds.

Other Thoughts: Overall not bad but not a great buy even at the 50% discount of the original price. Should have spent another $20 on a pair of a better brand or just stuck with my usual $20 pairs I usually get from the local brick and moarter stores.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Product

Pros: - Sound great
- For the most part very comfortable
- Eliminate the sound well

Cons: Seemingly a cheaply made product (or at the very least, poorly made) for the following reasons:
- The small carrying case they provided, after only owning the product for about a month, is peeling
- The right earphone no longer works
- The product has a strong smell than can be really irritating

The reason for the 1-egg rating is because the product is no longer fully functional. Impossible for me to give any product more than 1-egg when its in this state.

Other Thoughts: I really hope their customer service is exceptional, otherwise I would not recommend these headphones to ANYONE.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent sound, disgusting smell

Pros: The sound is decent from these headphones. Snug fit. They do look fairly good. They do not have the annoying control talk pod that makes a lot of noise. The 3.5mm plug is excellent, nice metal casing. It does come with earclips for a secure fit while exercising.

Cons: No 6.3mm adapter
Smells terrible, packaging, case, wires and silicone tips.
Could use the "pine tree" tips to seal off outside sound. Only comes with standard tips.

Other Thoughts: They do not stack up at the suggested retail price, good deal if its 75% off.

and yes, they really do smell terrible. Has a plastic chemical smell that emanates and stains into clothing and your skin.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat set of Ear Buds

Pros: Solidly built.
3 sizes of rubber tips mean they will fit almost anyone's ears.
Free with my laptop.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Would I pay 100 bucks for earbuds? hell no.
