5 out of 5 eggs2nd Time around

Pros: Covers the whole ear. Sound quality is amazing for the price. Construction is better then most. Long cord. Mic works great.

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: I've purchased these before, they lasted about 1 year. I use my headset about 16 hours a day 7 days a week. Most headsets i've owned where allot more expensive and didn't last as long. I recommend these to everyone.

2 out of 5 eggsOne Speaker Died, Month 1

Pros: The mic is a great idea and is very clear. I had over 50 people on Comm's all stated that it is the best sounding mic. Sound from the speakers are good. Cord is long and thickly covered. Which in my book is good.

Cons: The headset design is for people with small hat sizes. I'm a med hat size and it is very tight my head and ears. Not comfortable past 1 hour.
Oh and the best part is that within a month the left speaker goes out ! Outstanding (NOT).

Other Thoughts: In the write up for this product they would be wise to include that it is for small hat sized people only.
Years ago I bought a really nice pair of Zalman's and they lasted years.
I'm going to try this model out
ZALMAN HPS200 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Headset
They are in the mail now.

2 out of 5 eggsExpected better

Pros: In line volume control for the headphones and an on/off switch for the mic I know this is common but it is so useful. I know they aren't noise cancelling but with them on all I could hear is the game/music/video i was playing/watching and none of the environmental noise.

Cons: Perfect for six months and then the honeymoon was over, first thing to happen was the plastic headband snapped off the top of one of the phones so I had to use duct tape. Second the sound started cutting out in the headphones and eventually went out now the only thing that works is the mic so I'm shopping for a new headset as we speak.

Other Thoughts: I got this headset for 20 bucks and i didn't expect much and for six months I got more than I expected. So you get what you pay for.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed bag

Pros: Sound quality good versus cost. Light, compact.

Cons: 'Circumaural' in name only. Sits on the ears rather than enveloping them, which should make them Supra-aural. Probably need some break-in time but were causing ear pain after only about an hour.

Boom mic picks up a lot of background noise.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. These will become my 'backup' headphones.

1 out of 5 eggsExtremely Painful

Pros: This is a very affordable headset, and I really like the portable design for traveling or keeping in a laptop bag.

Cons: Even at the extremely low price I paid, I would not recommend these to my worst enemy. It's a shame really, because I've used and enjoyed several Rosewill products; they generally give reasonably good quality for a very low price. However, this headset causes me extreme ear pain. Not discomfort. Sharp, agonizing pain, like my ears are being twisted and broken in some contraption full of heavy metal gears. I can't imagine how any human of adult size could willingly wear these more than once. I'm only 5'4", so I'm not huge by any means, but this headset presses so hard against my ears, I'm still having horrible pains more than half an hour after taking it off. I only wore it for a single hour-long gaming session. If I touch my ears right now, I get the same feeling as when I broke a finger when I was a little kid and I touched it, only this pain is worse. Seriously, I'm as cheap as the next guy, but even I can't put up with this. How other reviews could score this headset highly is beyond me. Did other people simply not wear it before reviewing? I'm not kidding, spend more on a more comfortable headset, even if you're strapped for cash. This headset is even worse than that gray, hard-looking Logitech a bunch of you might have seen like 8 years ago. It was really common several years back because it was widely available and pretty affordable, and my friends and I all had one. Those were extremely uncomfortable. This is like that, but much worse.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset a little over a year ago because it was on sale and I wanted a more portable option for traveling or as a backup in case my primary gaming headset broke. Well, I never once used it until today when my primary headset finally gave out, and I can honestly say, it's not even comfortable enough to be used once per year.

5 out of 5 eggsValue play cans

Pros: Great sound. Great Mic, great value. High quality inexpensive headphones. Good for travel because of compact size and folding ability.

Cons: I don't believe at this price point considering the value is applicable.

Other Thoughts: I have been studying the works of James Bond and discovered there is no listening device better than the human mind.

3 out of 5 eggsGood set, but wires prone to disconnect

Pros: -Good sound and mic quality for the price point

Cons: -Wire comes loose inside the casing, at which point the connection will cut out if wire is slightly jostled and will soon after completely come loose.

Other Thoughts: I've owned 2 sets and both become inoperable around the year and a half mark (so no longer under warranty). Thought the first time was a fluke, and I took extra care with the second set to try to avoid the same issue, but it still happened again. Not bad for the price, but I'll be shopping around for a more durable set this time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat afforable sound and communications.

Pros: Compact folding is great for staying safe in tight spaces (loose pockets, small bags, luggage). Microphone can be easily muted and rolled completely up into left side with only small plastic bead sticking out.

Cons: Not much to think of, non the the common Logitech wear and tear shorts or other such audio issues.

Other Thoughts: I had been trying cheap to cheaper USB headsets for both music and headsets (other than earbuds for .mp3) but after multiple problems with drivers and different Windows versions just refusing to recognize after a while (loose connections?) or audio/mic loss after wear/tear of 1+yr. These headphones can be used for music devices or the dual audio plugs can utilize nice bass stereo and microphone communication. As long as your audio sockets stay connected and solid there really shouldn't never be issues on the computer side.

4 out of 5 eggsExactly what I got them for

Pros: So far the perform perfect, not too small for my ears but not too big, the mic is great don't even have to pull it out to use it but it's cool that it does extend if needed.

Cons: None really, the bass isn't the best but what do you expect? I only got them for late night voice chat for League.
