1 out of 5 eggsPoor Build Quality

Pros: Smooth feel, Sleek Finish, great in game accuracy......when it works.

Cons: I have owned 3 of these mice, and they all have failed, 2 for the same reason. The first one I owned the buttons stopped responding. The second 2 have had the cable go out . I opened the second one up, re-soldered the cable and then it worked again for about a month. Now, after a little over a year of owning this mouse the cable has gone out as well. Contacted support on this one, over a week later get a reply telling me to try a different PC....Like I did not try that right away.

Other Thoughts: I really want the mice to be good. They look great, feel good in the hand, and perform solidly in games, but unfortunately they are just cheaply made. They do not stand up to regular usage and customer support has taken over a week to finally contact me and suggested I try a different computer....Seriously so disappointing.

1 out of 5 eggs2012 version doesn't work on hard surfaces

Pros: I've had this mouse for two years and it has done me well. I've worn out my Razer Goliathus mouse pad completely out and it is falling apart. I had to order a new mouse pad since then only to find that it does not work on hard surfaces or hard mousepads.

Cons: I recently invested 40$ into a new mouse pad that i cannot use. I tried everything to remedy the issue, firmware update 1.16. Synapse 2.0 (which has the surface changing configuration) does not work for 2012. The default Razer drivers do not offer you an option to change the surface distance. It seems that Razer knows this and thus is why they released a 2014 model that sports a new sensor that allows this. Just do an internet search and you will see i am not the only one with this issue.

Other Thoughts: I don't think i would buy another Razer product again.

They should mention somewhere that it only works on cloth pads.

My warranty is out so i can do nothing.

3 out of 5 eggsNot worth $70

Pros: Great mouse! I bought this as a replacement for my RAT 7 which I could never configure to be comfortable. I enjoy the adjustable side buttons and the mouse is light. This is my first 4G dual laser style mouse and it seems to work rather well on several types of surfaces. Comfortable and was noticeably faster and more responsive versus other mice I own.

Cons: Really light weight, maybe not a con but I prefer a mouse that is at least twice as heavy. So light I kind of question the build quality. The buttons work fine but the material this mouse is made out of is rather flimsy. I can't double click or continuously click like I was used to on my RAT and other mice. This could be due to the whole top piece not being separate buttons but just one large cover. Price is kind of high, there are other mice worth looking into in the same price range.

Other Thoughts: I will use this mouse as a back up and for my other PCs since I spent so much on it and can not find the receipt to return or exchange it it locally. I prefer large mice and this fit my hand very well but I can not get past the buttons being one piece rather than being individual. If this was $50 it would be a great purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: Very durable, made of quality material
excess buttons for customization
dpi setting buttons
small, but with decent weight to it
Never had a problem with it in a year and a half
aesthetically pleasing, at least to me.

Cons: I haven't tried a lot of high end mice before, so I would take that into account while reading my review. I can't really think of any.

Other Thoughts: I have had thing mouse for a year and a half. I absolutely love it. The customizability is amazing. And now, with razer synapse 2.0 support, this thing is even greater!

I recently bought my brother the deathadder 2013 edition and it it a lot bigger than this mouse. The other thing is, it weighs a lot less and feels cheaper, but so far been good and worked well.

If you have really large hands, or like to fully grip your mouse with all of your hand, I'd suggest the deathadder 2013 or a different mouse than this. It is pretty small, and I can see it being frustrating for people with very large hands.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the Best Mice I've Ever Owned

Pros: First off, I have had this mouse for almost 3 years and it's just now starting to go haywire, but not in a bad way. I've used this mouse HEAVILY for as long as I've had it, like 4 million clicks worth of use on it, maybe more idk. The grip is awesome and the ability to move the macro buttons on the side is great for people with bigger hands like me. It can be used with a "claw" grip, as well as the regular palm grip and still feel comfortable either way. It works on every surface I've ever put it on without any affects on the tracking or precision.

Cons: After over 3 years, the mouse has started to deteriorate. The right click skips every 4th or 5th click when used in succession and where the cord meets the mouse has been bent and the connection from the wire is faulty. Depending on where you move it too, the mouse may spontaneously disconnect and take a couple seconds to come back on. Again this is after 3 YEARS of HEAVY use.

Other Thoughts: Overall one of the best mice i've ever owned. It has great tracking speed and the grip is phenomenal. Definitely one mouse that is worth the price of admission!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse, AND worth the price

Pros: Its a good mouse. The colors are strong and bright, but not distracting. If you are coming from a lower end mouse (I had some cheap 20 dollar Razer knockoff) this will blow you away!

Cons: None really. More color options would be nice I suppose.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: This is the second Imperator I've had in almost 3 years. I love the mouse and how it feels in the hand. I had to replace it only because I got curious as to what the inside looked like. That was a $70 adventure! >_<

Great mouse for MOBA and MMO. :)

Cons: NONE!

1 out of 5 eggsFool me twice...

Pros: Feels very ergonomic and it looks nice as well.

Cons: Looks are deceiving, after going through another Razer I was hoping the last was a fluke but the dreaded clicker failure happened. Apparently the RMB and LMB clickers from Razer are bade out of a cheap copper design that will often wear out and result in single clicks which register as doubles and at times a signal failure all together. Given that this mouse failed me after just one year of use I will not be coming back. No need for Razer customer service to respond to me at this point. I am done.
