3 out of 5 eggsFirmware Seems OK

Pros: Lots of programmable buttons
Lots of colors

Cons: It is kind of big, and I am adjusting to it as it is a little uncomfortable. So the jury is still out if this will be a long term replacement for me.

Other Thoughts: I ordered as part of the shell shocker and l received one with the sticker 910-002871. I ran the 77.02.17 firmware upgrade and it told me the mouse was up to date. I have not noticed any lag issues with mine.

1 out of 5 eggsBuyer Beware.

Pros: Pretty colors, multitude of buttons.

Cons: For a shell shocker, I took a chance. This mouse is NOT model 910-002871, this is actually a nearly 4 year old 810-002851. The firmware on this model CAN NOT be updated to repair the sensor lag issue. Used Newegg chat to discuss an RMA/exchange but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to get the same restickered garbage. Was informed that the correct item was shipped and that if I wanted to exchange it, it would be for the same restickered trash. Chat agent was extremely helpful and offered to RMA.

Other Thoughts: As another reviewer pointed out, it does appear that Newegg was clearing out older stock. For the price I paid, this is an okay backup mouse for when I inevitably smash my Naga.

5 out of 5 eggsTrue Mice

Pros: All you can ask for in a gaming mouse. I like the feel, the weight, the design, the price ($40 give/take), the button placement, portability, colors; almost everything!

Cons: Not wireless, :o/ no extra Teflon pads, no weight adjustments; yeah, like those are deal breakers ;oP I'm just saying. I have more than 3 of these.

Other Thoughts: I use it for work; I smoke everybody in productivity.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best one in the price range

Pros: • A lot of customization options!
• Easy to use
• Nice grip

Cons: • No mouse action on macro options, only if you use Lua Script, not a big deal at all!

Other Thoughts: I bought this one in Shell Shocker, so i paid US$ 29.99, for a GOOD MOUSE + MOUSE PAD, i think this is a great price!

2 out of 5 eggsactually older model 810-002851

Pros: irrelevant

Cons: While this is advertised as part number 910-002871, and that's how the box was labelled, what was actually inside the box was a G600 with part number 810-002851. I discovered this when I attempted to apply the latest firmware for the G600 and received the message "Firmware version 77.02.12 found. This version does not support firmware update."

Googling the message led me to a 23 page thread at Logitech's web site. In summary, the firmware update is needed to address lag issues caused by the sensor (which I observed). According to Logitech, any mouse shipped after 10/2012 should be able to able to accept firmware updates.

Other Thoughts: Even returning the mouse proved difficult. The RMA was initially rejected because the part number on the mouse did not match the part number on the box, which is precisely why the mouse was being returned. (FWIW, the part number on the box, 910-002871, was pasted over an older part number.)

This mouse was purchased as a Shell Shocker. Looks like Logitech was dumping old inventory.

5 out of 5 eggsmost comfortable

Pros: This is a very comfortable mouse. There are tons of buttons to map, and the G-Shift on the ring finger doubles the mappable buttons you get. The software is well done and allows you to easily and quickly map buttons and write macros. The colors on the buttons are pretty cool, and it helps that you can customize the colors to your preference. The color profiles go well with the Corsair K70 RGB.

Cons: The G-shift (ring finger) is really easy to accidentally hit. And a little bit of nitpicking, I haven't found a way to pick a different color for each and every button.

Other Thoughts: I am a pretty big guy and it has been hard for me to find a good gaming mouse that I found comfortable. I have owned the RAT MMO7 and a Naga before, but I would always find myself needing a break after a raid to rest my mouse hand. While I very much recommend both of those mice, nothing compares to the comfort of the G600 for my monstrous hands. The G600 is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

1 out of 5 eggsno more logitech

Pros: comfortable, programmable and has more buttons than I could actually manipulate without making mistakes

Cons: decided not to work after 8 months

Other Thoughts: I bought all logitech after using the M185 mouse, I beat the heck out of the little wireless guy and it stayed through 2 desktops 1 laptop and a teenage daughter that was set to destroy it. I was so impressed until i got the higher end stuff, nothing works like its suppose to and stuff is breaking all over...im back to the little m185

5 out of 5 eggslove it and sort of not so love it

Pros: - 3 finger buttons (MORE MICE NEED THIS!)
- 12 thumb buttons
- EVERYTHING is configurable
- comfortable design
- fabric braided cord is very durable
- pleasant LED options
- rubber mouse wheel
- smooth click mouse wheel

Cons: - too many thumb buttons
- 2 buttons below the scroll wheel that are never ever used
- fabric braided cord is very stiff

Other Thoughts: It's a great mouse for absolutely everything, except intense action games. I find myself absentmindedly gripping it too hard and accidentally pressing a thumb button or banging them against the keyboard. Aside from that, the thumb buttons are great for everything else like MMOs, sims, and especially art/CAD programs. The mouse is sized for people with large hands (me) and palm rest position users. If you wear M sized gloves and a claw position user, this mouse will be way too big for you. I wear XL gloves and I use this mouse in the claw position. Ironically, the larger than average sized mouse has thumb buttons that are too small in my opinion. It would have benefited from larger thumb buttons even if it reduced it to 9 or 6 buttons.

I love the 3 finger buttons which provide a much needed ACTUAL middle mouse button instead of trying to use the stupid mouse wheel as one. I wish more mice had a real middle mouse button and now I only consider purchasing mice that have a middle button. The only weird thing is that it defaults the middle button as the right click and the right mouse button is defaulted to some useless thing that I never use. I always end up reconfiguring the profile for those two buttons with a logical layout anyways.

2 out of 5 eggsSize matters

Pros: It's a quality mouse with 12 side keys, which make it powerful in an MMO or gaming environment. I suppose the G-Shift (right) mouse button could be useful, if you can reach it comfortably and naturally.

Cons: It feels like this mouse is intended for larger hands and/or people who use a palm style (where you rest the weight of your hand, palm flat on the mouse body), rather than a claw type grip (where you mainly hold the mouse from the sides with your ring finger or pinky).
For me, it was a stretch to hit the side buttons, while maintaining a good controlling grip on the rest of the mouse. Anything over just a few minutes of continuous use, lead to progressively intense muscle strains and fatigue in my mouse hand.

Other Thoughts: Coming from the (original) Razer Naga, this mouse looked exciting. I thought maybe it could take the place of my overworked naga, which had just started giving out after what had to have been at least 5 years of pretty hardcore MMO gaming.
I did a lot of research and it looked like the newer Naga versions had grown too different from the original model I loved, so I took a friend's advice and ordered the G600, which would fit nicely with my other Logitech gear. Now I wished I'd tried the 2012 or even the 2014 Naga instead.
The G600 is just way too big for anyone without large hands. I read the reviews that said as much, but I just wanted to believe it would work for me. It didn't.
My eventual solution was to locate an original Naga, new in box from somewhere jungle themed place on the internet and I never looked back. Might buy a few more so when this one wears out in a few years I wont be stuck.
If any Logitech or other mouse manufacturers are reading this, please make a 12-side-key MMO mouse like the original naga small enough that women and men without lumberjack hands can comfortably use it.
