5 out of 5 eggsAdequate

Pros: These do the advertised job, no they are not high end but good enough sound for the price and design. I purchased these for my wife, she is not a gamer. My wife uses these every day as she works from home on the computer and she has been very pleased as they are perfect for the office environment. She tells me that voice communication is great.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: they do the job

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cheap Headset

Pros: High Quality headset at a great price. I only use my headset for gaming with friends. I do not want to spend a lot of money for a simple voice headset and I am not an audiophile who demands perfect surround sound or anything. These wrok and they work great. I prefer behind the head and this was the best set I could find at the time. My son wears a lot of the higher end headsets and all of them have broken over time. This one is still going strong.

Cons: I have no cons for this headset. Simply a great value product.

1 out of 5 eggsGood While it last

Pros: Comfortable and nice easy to use. It doesn't require any drivers just plug and play/

Cons: Microphone started acting weird and stopped working after one year. I received this item a a xmas gift from spouse in 2012. She didn't purchase online so she doesn't have the receipt. Contacted Logitech support and they said they need the receipt because the S/N said they were made in 2008. So they are not going to honor the warranty....So basically they will be going in the land field.

Other Thoughts: I used to swear by Logitech but after having several expensive mice die and now this. I will never buy another product from them again. I will only buy from companies that stand by their products, not companies that know their products are going to die in a year or two.

2 out of 5 eggsHeadband snaps frequently

Pros: Looks good, decent sound, mute/volume control on cord

Cons: Headband snaps in half

Other Thoughts: I've owned two pairs of these. The first pair I owned for about 6 mo. and the headband snapped in half after light usage. So, I bought a replacement set. Now, just over a year later, same problem, same location on the headband. Cheap, cheap manufacturing. Logitech won't replace for me as it's outside of the 1 yr. warranty date, so if you want something that barely holds together until the warranty is useless, buy these.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap Quality

Pros: ~In-line volume and mute is a convenient feature
~Microphone picks up sound in good quality
~Reasonably comfortable

Cons: Obviously cheap materials and poor quality control. Within about 6 months I started to have sporadic sound quality issues, usually from the right ear. Static was a frequent problem after this, and through the entire life of the headset, the earphones would pickup feedback from the microphone so you hear yourself breathing etc.
Now, not even fully a year old, and they snapped right in half as I was removing them. I have treated them well, and was not removing them roughly, yet the back-band split clean along a brittle fracture. Cheap materials.

Other Thoughts: It's a reasonable buy for the short term if you don't want an advanced product, but fails to deliver on durability and sustained quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset, Flimsy Band

Pros: Adequate sound quality, Very comfortable, Still works after over a year of heavy use.

Cons: The neckband is rather flimsy when considering the weight of the ear pieces which are slightly heavy. The neckband broke after while and then in a second place a bit later.

Other Thoughts: Although the neckband broke, I was able to fix it with tape. The audio and microphone still work fine. They felt awkward at first, but very comfortable after a week or two.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat buy until it dies.

Pros: Good headset at first, clear on both sides, mic is good.

Cons: the back snapped when I took it off (gently) there's hardly anything holding it together as others have stated. I taped it together with a bunch of electrical tape and thought I was okay. it found another place to break where I hadn't reinforced. I hang them on my desk when not in use. they shouldn't break under their own weight.

Other Thoughts: I love Logitech, they've been solid for years but their new stuff isn't terribly impressive. I'm tempted to go with something different if this isn't made right. I'll try contacting them, wish me luck.

3 out of 5 eggsFaulty design

Pros: Had this set for exactly 2 years now. Mic still works.

Cons: Sound cuts in and out when I use the volume controller. Really bad junk design, flimsy plastic band snapped in in half about a year after owning these and being extraordinarily careful with them. I got my moneys worth though.

4 out of 5 eggsMostly Awesome

Pros: Super comfortable, easily adjustable, light, great sound quality, fair price.

Cons: It recently started to fall about on the right ear. The glue started to separate and somehow the right side doesn't produce sound anymore.

Other Thoughts: It lasted 2 years, so that's nice...I'll still use it, but it made me sad in any case. :( I have other logitech equipment that is invincible.

3 out of 5 eggsGood. For a while.

Pros: The sound quality was initially pretty high. A very adequate headset. It got rid of the reverb problem I was having with my previous headset completely, the bass was all good, and so on.

Cons: Flimsy material. After five months, the headband simply snapped in half. I am typing this with a two-part headset around the back of my head.

When I first got it, it took a week or two before I could wear it comfortably. Before that, it was constantly on my mind as something I had on my head, and then I got used to it. However, after meeting that point, it was barely noticeable at all.

Other Thoughts: While the interior parts seem to be of decent quality, the overall build of this headset leaves a lot to be desired. I would recommend this if it is ever on discount for 20 to 25 dollars. I feel as if it is a good buy at that price point, but at what they are asking? Too much.
