3 out of 5 eggsGood. For a while.

Pros: The sound quality was initially pretty high. A very adequate headset. It got rid of the reverb problem I was having with my previous headset completely, the bass was all good, and so on.

Cons: Flimsy material. After five months, the headband simply snapped in half. I am typing this with a two-part headset around the back of my head.

When I first got it, it took a week or two before I could wear it comfortably. Before that, it was constantly on my mind as something I had on my head, and then I got used to it. However, after meeting that point, it was barely noticeable at all.

Other Thoughts: While the interior parts seem to be of decent quality, the overall build of this headset leaves a lot to be desired. I would recommend this if it is ever on discount for 20 to 25 dollars. I feel as if it is a good buy at that price point, but at what they are asking? Too much.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good.

Pros: Clear, crisp sound with decent bass. Microphone quality is supreme. Solid in-line volume control and mic muting.

Cons: Cord is a meter too short. Definitely meant for people sitting in front of a laptop or at their desktop. The audio is far too quiet, even with Windows audio settings cranked up and the dial maxed out. Also, it feels as though it could break at any second.

Other Thoughts: Well, worth a try. Logitech believes extreme-comfort means weight-reduction and using thin plastic, but all it means to me is that it feels as though if I don't treat it like it's held together with glue, it'll shatter. Oh well. I will dock an egg for all the cons together, and i can't help but feel a bit shorted on this. The cord is unforgivably short, but I knew that going into this. Oh well.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Headset

Pros: Comfy, simple plug and play, sound quality is sharp (see below in Cons for the "but"...).

Cons: Worried about the "cheap" plastic that was used for the extender part. I was hoping it was a metal piece, but it most certainly is plastic. Though I dont plan on doing anything that would endanger the integrity of the strap, it is something to be aware of.

Sound quality is SHARP, but there is a sever lack of bass coming from the speakers. I wonder, though, if it has something to do with my computer settings and not the headset. I will adjust and update as needed.

Other Thoughts: Not that it matters, but the "microphone" silencer switch on the inline pad does not work when using the headset with Ventrillo. Not that I would ever use it, but during my testing and setup, I wanted to know about all the features.

It DOES work, however, with all other applications.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of junk

Pros: It worked great, sound was clear in the headset, microphone was clear with not much feedback. It was extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Cons: I had it for two months and the sound quality dropped, the head back snapped open but the headset still works. People now have trouble hearing me and I have to have the volume up at full just hear other people. What is up with this logitech?

Other Thoughts: I very much regret buying this headset and I hope no one else makes the mistake of buying it as well.

5 out of 5 eggsNever Lets me Down

Pros: Noise Cancellation
Adjustable mic
In-line audio controls

Cons: Audio controls are backed by a slide clip instead of a pinch clip and are about 2 feet down the cord which means they're going to dangle somewhere unless you have a button down shirt

Other Thoughts: Bought this almost 3 years ago at around this price. It's a great headset. I use it at work for conference calls and it's never let me down. Noise cancellation means I'm loud and clear on the other end and the inline audio controls allow me to turn loud people down and mute myself without reaching for the mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsBleh

Pros: Fairly comfy, bought it mostly because it wraps around the back of my head and came with a built in mic

Cons: Let's see here... the USB dongle isn't useful. Sound and mic are rather muted unless you hook straight into the standard jacks. The earpads wear out rather quickly. The inline volume remote is so cheaply made that it will actually interfere with the sound, dropping it lower than expected and sometimes not even sending sound to one side or the other. The extension bit will leak some kind of sticky gunk after some use(it looked/felt like some cheap glue)

Other Thoughts: I'm glad it's listed as "Out of Stock" at the time of this review as this unit is not worth $50. I'm also glad that I bought mine using a gift card instead of wasting my own money.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: The overall sound quality is great. The headset is comfortable to wear for hours of gaming. It has a very long cord, and the mic is clear and only picks up my voice.

Cons: The cord on the headset is very thin, and it broke after only 4 months of use. Luckily, logitech is great about replacing the headset.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this headset to anyone that does not want noise cancelling headphones, or wants to be able to wear a headset for hours on end without any type of pain.

3 out of 5 eggsGood overall

Pros: Good sound. I'm not a sound expert but I really liked the bass and everything sounded just fine on the headset. The mic is really nice and clear.

Cons: The back curve snapped, I duct tapped it and its all good but that was an annoyance. Do not stretch the headset very much, open it up as much as you comfortably can. I was very gentle yet after maybe 3 months or more it snapped in half lol. The headphones took a little getting used to as they do rest on your ears and can hurt at first. I got used to it for the most part but during extended gameplays the back and top of my ears start to hurt. Also, as we speak, my sound start started cutting out like other reviewers mentioned here. Hopefully its just a fluke or the audio I'm listening to but its getting on my nerves!

The mic can feedback and echo, also people can hear audio from your headset to your mic. If you lower mic sensitivity it should get rid of it. Maybe this is more of a pro testifying to the strength of the mic?

Other Thoughts: So would I recommend this overall? Yes, definitely for the price rang. Just treat it gently and do not stretch the back curve. I don't mean do not extend it out but don't... stretch it. That back curve holding the two ear pieces is pretty weak. It feels kinda solid but it is flimsy.
