5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Looks and works great, no complaints

Cons: Wish the price didn't go up $50 since I bought it back in 8/13 otherwise I may have bought another one!

1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality

Pros: Looks good, speakers arent great but the picture is worth.

Cons: Only last 10 months before its flickering wildly. Very disappointing!!! Buy better monitor, leave this one alone. Plus no way to get it replaced, company ignores customers!!

Other Thoughts: Common for this monitor to break for no reason

5 out of 5 eggsWaiting for the right price to buy another one

Pros: Price, color, longevity, ports. Okay this monitor is under rated for the price point. I have had two of these for almost two years now and both are as good as the day I plugged them in. Battlefield 4 looks absolutely amazing on this monitor! No motion blur what so ever and the colors and lighting are brilliant. I am going to buy another one as soon as the price drops to the $200 mark again. Can't wait to have three of these beauties spread across my desk.

Cons: Stand will wobble if you have an earthquake...oh brother!

Other Thoughts: I see people giving it bad reviews for the stand being too flimsy??? Okay maybe it's not bullet proof but what do you need? You set it up, plug it in and dust it off once in a while. It's not a portable item people! It's about the picture quality and the response time, not if you can do pull-ups on it...geez! If you don't like the stand you can by a decent VESA mount for under $25

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bright, clear picture with little backlight bleeding.
Price - at the time I bought this, it had two discounts bringing it under $200. At a higher price point, the stand (see below) would have cost it an additional egg.

Cons: The stand is very cheap. Mine wouldn't even attach properly (I had to cut out a chunk of the interior supporting spines to make it fit) and had a broken tab. I don't trust it at this point and I am looking for a decent VESA mount that doesn't cost over $50.

3 out of 5 eggsWell, I got what I paid for

Pros: It works, it's cheap, very thin, and light for its size

Cons: flimsy, unstable stand, stuck pixel right out of the box

Other Thoughts: Well I saw this big honking monitor for $180, and I just couldn't pass it up. I noticed a few reviews suggesting that the base was unstable, and I just kind of ignored them. But wow were they right. The stand is, in a word, ridiculous. It literally has half the footprint of the stand on the 23" Acer monitor that I upgraded from. Fortunately my desk has a hutch, and I'm able to shove one side of this monitor up against it to stabilize. If it wasn't for that, I'd seriously consider screwing it down to the desk. It really is that unstable.

minus one egg

And again like other reviews mentioned, it does bleed a bit. This wasn't such a big deal though. I adjusted the brightness and contrast down to sane levels, and that took care of 80%ish of the light bleed. Still though, when I look over to my right again at the Acer monitor it replaced (now hooked up to a media rig) I see its black black blackity blacks. I look at this thing and I see [Batman voice] very dark shades of gray [/Batman voice].

minus half an egg

So that leaves me with 3.5 eggs rounded to 4.

except

I see a stuck pixel.

minus another half egg

So, yep, I got what I paid for. I don't really like leaving 3 eggs for a product that is functioning (more or less) correctly and withing design parameters. But it is what it is. I don't think I'd buy this monitor again. In retrospect, I wish I'd paid the $50 more for another Acer. >_<

5 out of 5 eggs1 year in, still great!

Pros: Works as expected
Price was good

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use this in my home office / study. It gets a fair bit of use. Resolution is good, performance has been good. It's everything I wanted.

I don't use the speakers, so I can't comment on sound quality.

5 out of 5 eggsBest in its class

Pros: Color, clarity, overall size, sale price

Cons: Depending on video cable, the bend radius may be tight.

Other Thoughts: I have been personally using my monitor at home now for about 1 month now and enjoy it so much that I am ordering another while on sale. We also have been using this model at work for about 1 year now and we have over 100 of them. No issues with any!! I have read many complaints from other owners but to this day have not experienced problems with EMF, color, picture quality, etc. The monitor is best used with a HDMI/DVI input. The other video input (VGA) you can experience the complaints some have mentioned. I find the stand as comparable to other thin line monitors and it does perform its purpose well. With all the moving we do with them at work nothing has cracked, snapped, or popped. If you want to upgrade your small monitor look no farther.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: GREAT monitor! I've had this thing for more than a year, and have yet to see a problem with it,

Cons: As others have said, the warranty sticker is visible on the front of the device. It's annoying, but you quickly come to ignore it.
