ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) W/Speakers

Pros: Still using this monitor. Bought it because it was cheap and its a 23.6 inch monitor! Haven't found one problem using this monitor at all.

Cons: None

Pros: I ordered at least 20 of these for everyone in my company when we phased out CRTs and < 20" screens a couple years back. Not a single one has failed to this day. Just had my oldest 22" fail, an old Acer. Sad to see this discontinued. Going to try my luck with the VS248H-P which looks like it is about the same spec from Asus.

Cons: If it lost signal on one input and scanned for signal on the other is about the only feature I would have liked to see it have beyond everything it already had.

Pros: Very pretty. And it's big.

Cons: Did a "fade to white" from bottom to top one day while using it. Returned for RMA in otherwise pristine condition, carefully packed in original retail packaging. Received "replacement" that was beat up, scuffed, and covered in fingerprints and red lint, and packed poorly in bubble wrap.

Other Thoughts: I guess it's great that I was even able to get a replacement. But still, to get something back that looks like a dog has been chewing on it, received in such sloppy packaging... it just boggles me.

Pros: High Resolution screen with VGA, HDMI I/O

Cons: speakers aren't loud

Other Thoughts: It been almost 2 years and it is still working great for me. I have used it seamlessly with VGA/HDMI units and worked flawlessly.
worth every penny

Pros: 1080p, built in speakers, HDMI, and affordable.

Cons: Id like the power cord to be a little long. Other then that its worth the money.

DVI Input

Cons: I knew this from the specs but that would be nice if there was another HDMI input

Other Thoughts: All around great monitor for gaming and i'd highly recommend it for the price.

Cons: You get what you pay for. I bought 2 of these in Feb of 2012. Had to send them both back within2 months to Asus to be fixed as they suddenly stopped working. So guess what I found when I sat down at my desk this evening...yep mine has died again, just over 1 month past the original purchase date....I expect my other one will die shortly also. Would I ever buy these again? Not on your life...my old monitor still works and it is well over 5 years old. I just wanted to get a flat screen with a bigger display...yeah well never again from Asus when it can't last more than a year without suddenly dying.

Pros: Easy to set up and work perfectly, the grphic look relly good and the screen are really big you will love it once you get it.

Cons: kinda hard to use it, the setting , but u rarely use it.

Pros: Very Bright
Splendid as amazing
Menus are easy to use
Slick and blends in

Cons: Blue light is a little bright
Ratio could be better, but can't complain
