5 out of 5 eggsstill going strong after over a year

Pros: Still going strong after over a year, no problems at all with burned out pixels or lack of picture quality.. however...

Cons: ... I do realize it could be just me (user error?)... I also realize that computers are finicky beasts, what one computer likes another might dislike for a million various reasons that have to do with programming that are beyond me.. having said that, oddly enough I noticed when I switched from a DVI-D cable to HDMI cable the monitor started having problems, shutting itself off every time the computer turned off, had to turn the power button off and back on again on the monitor (AOC e2752Vh 27 inch monitor).. it could be a problem with the monitor itself and have nothing to do with the video card.. once I switched back to a DVD-D cable (which let's face it are cheap as heck nowadays so not a real problem at all) it eliminated the problem.. weird...

Also, I purchased an all glass computer desk mainly 'cause it was cheap :P .. turns out you get what you pay for, apparently glass desk-tops transmit vibrations easily so the monitor wobbles slightly now if you type up a storm on the keyboard.. while the desk is obviously primarily to blame during my research on how to solve the issue I read that if the monitor base is "flimsy" i.e. not heavy and sturdy it can cause this problem too in conjunction with the glass desk.. the base is holding up well enough after over a year mind you, the monitor hasn't toppled over or broken off :P

5 out of 5 eggsHave 3 and all have been great

Pros: Bought 3 of these monitors over a year ago. Took a chance on them as they didn't have a lot of reviews, but I've very happy with them ever since.

Light for their size, Easy to mount (done it twice with two different set ups) and great bang for your buck.

Cons: Speakers are poor (what do you expect though) and the buttons are bit hard to use, but I've gotten use to them.

Other Thoughts: Great for the price and been top notch since I bought them.

5 out of 5 eggsA-OK by me!

Pros: Its DOES indeed tilt. Picture is crisp, clean and sharp.

Cons: The buttons are a P.I.T.A. Hard to push.
The desktop program to emulate the buttons is in Chinese with no apparent other language selection.

Other Thoughts: Using Two as dual heads via a Visiontek dual DVI card. Painless install. Needed a bit of tweaking for lager DPI @ 1920x1080, to be expected. Happy-happy-happy.
It only comes with VGA cables so be prepared to get a set of HDMI or DVI. I chose DVI as sometimes HDMI is finicky and didn't want to deal with it. No worries.

4 out of 5 eggsI own 2

Pros: Size, Response time, Picture once calibrated. And Price

Cons: Needed calibration out of the box, not horrible, but not good enough.

Other Thoughts: I've noticed certain issues with both Nvidia and AMD using HDMI.

With Nvidia the colors by default are jacked up, 500x too bright aka washed out. A registry tweak is needed to fix it, so if you were using Nvidia and it's washed out while using HDMI it's not the monitor. (Google "nvidia set HDMI to PC" it's the second result)

With AMD and HDMI, if this is your primary monitor, it will have a border around it. Adjusting overscan in the Catalyst Control Center will remove the border. Again it's not the monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent value, display not as sharp as my IPS LCD set.

Pros: 1) excellent value for the price
2) built in speaker works fine for casual usage
3) has HDMI port, I'm using this with an Intel DC3217BY which only has HDMI port. Same HDMI port carries both video and audio.

Cons: Not as sharp as a IPS LCD display that cost 2 x more. I'm not complaining as this is a great value for the price I paid.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Recommended!

Pros: - No dead pixels
- Inputs
- Price and size

Cons: - Brightness distortion. Top half is darker than the bottom half and noticeable; this is the most serious of issues

- Poor viewing angle

- Menu buttons design is unintuitive, difficult to navigate, and sit next to the protruding LED which is easy to confuse as a button

- it comes only with a D-Sub cable

Other Thoughts: - It was initially purchased over Thanksgiving weekend from a local distributor, returned for an exchange a little over a week later, and the replacement has the exact brightness issue mentioned.

- I would not recommend this for amateur graphics designing, gaming, or just for watching movies. It should be OK for web browsing or software development.

- I will be returning this monitor for another brand

1 out of 5 eggsDa faq!?

Pros: Shipping was fast.

Cons: Package arrived damaged and was in the retail box, not a protective shipping container. Upon opening the box I instantly noticed the damaged top right portion of the monitor. Needless to say I am not happy.

Other Thoughts: I don/t know why they would not have shipped this item with more protective packaging. Currently waiting on newegg to send a replacement and when it arrives I'll update my review, but as of now I'm a very un-happy customer.
