5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: Crisp picture, easy hookup, comparable with more expensive models

Cons: only 2 inputs

Other Thoughts: This is probably the best purchase that I could have made. I got exactly what I wanted without paying as much as I would have with more expensive models, with the same results.

4 out of 5 eggspretty good thus far

Pros: It has a decent picture, it is lightweight and runs cool, has a VESA mount

Cons: On a 2014 Mac Pro, I had to run the ruby script to get the text to be clear (google for mac external monitor fuzzy). This was with a thunderbolt to DVI adapter. After getting this sorted out, I think the picture is a definite improvement over my old Dell 23 inch.
It is not as pretty as my retina display

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent monitor for the money

Pros: big, beautiful color screen
very lightweight, but sturdy
easy to assemble, literally 1 step
no drivers needed (on Windows 7)
I literally plugged it in and began using it

Cons: I've only had it a few days. I'm over the moon right now, I hope I get at least a couple years out of it. If so, it was totally worth it.

is that a con?

Other Thoughts: I'd been wanting to upgrade, but did not have the budget for a 55" smart TV, especially here at Christmas, so I found this for an incredible $159.99 and jumped on it. It was packed well, got here in 2 days, and took less than 10 minutes to take it out of the box, assemble it, and plug it in.
I read some other reviews, but luckily experienced none of the problems others had. Again, I've only had it a couple days, but if it holds out, this is def as good as it gets for the money. Thanks Newegg!

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Monitor for the price

Pros: BRIGHT! That may be a con to some, but I adjusted the brightness down to a comfortable level and it's nice knowing just how blindingly bright it can get. I appreciate the fact that it doesn't have an external power brick even if it does make for a slightly thicker screen, and a little research indicates it is using a LG VA panel - which is a nice compromise between TN and IPS.

Cons: I'm not sure how you're supposed to wrestle it out of the box without destroying the styrofoam packaging. 6ms is a bit slow of a response time these days.

Other Thoughts: I'm coming from a 5 year old 22" 1680x1050 monitor so this was a huge jump in all areas. I wish it included a HDMI connector, but for the size and price range I can certainly work with DVI. For the work I'm doing/games I'm playing the response time is just fine and I'm quite happy with the purchase so far.

3 out of 5 eggs  ok PQ

Pros: Decent picture.

Cons: Cheaply made. Minimal connectivity. One VGA one DVI. No outs. Also very wide and low. Not suited for double monitor work. Ok as a 3rd TV somewhere, but I think 32" is more useful for about the same price.

3 out of 5 eggsOk Monitor

Pros: Good size for the price. It's bright, colors are good

Cons: Good for basic use and movies. Pretty bad ghosting on high contrast colors. Not too good for fast moving games, etc.

Other Thoughts: Pretty much the best price for this size monitor. It was actually a little bigger than I thought it would be next to a 24 inch. It is really bright and the colors are good. I wouldn't recommend for gaming because of the slow response time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: 1. Great display with 0 dead pixels
2. Plug and play with Windows 8 (no drivers required)
3. Stable base
4. Very lightweight (even when compared to my previous 24inch monitor!)

Cons: 1. Takes about 3 seconds to come on
2. The bezel is a fingerprint magnet
3. No HDMI

Other Thoughts: Great 27 inch 1080P monitor for under 200.

4 out of 5 eggsForgot to mention...

Pros: See my previous review.

Cons: See my previous review.

Other Thoughts: I forgot to mention the nice monitor package does not include a DVI cable. Only a D-Sub/VGA cable is provided. So, if you don't have a spare lying around, make sure you order one because you don't want to try and run this nice monitor with the included D-Sub (VGA) cable.
