Pros: None really..

Cons: Colors are washed out. Has a lot of bleeding. Received mine with 4 dead pixels right in the center.

Other Thoughts: The quality of this model is very poor. I do not recommend this Monitor because it's a hit or miss..

Pros: I have had this monitor for over 6 months now and I love it. It looks great, the size format is fine contrary to someone else's post. Also I like the buttons being touch sensitive, the menu is a lot easier to navigate than lots of other monitors I have previously owned. I am seriously considering buying another one.

Cons: its not big enough?? LOL

Other Thoughts: It amazes me to read some peoples complaints about products they have purchased. The world does NOT revolve around YOU. You are one of BILLIONS and some times you will get a defective product. If so tell us it was defective. Don't sit there and whine and snivel about it, just the facts please JUST THE FACTS.

Pros: No stuck pixels, works great with my mac under osx 10.8.2

Cons: Not really a con, but I'm not a fan of the UI.

Other Thoughts: I don't really care for the lack of a HDMI, DVI is fine.
Swapped my 32' visually poor 720p TV, well dual screening but for videos now, for this (had no money for a monitor after I finished my build) and I have to say, the quality is amazing.

I'm probably gonna grab this or another Acer 27' to properly dual screen or temp triple screen.

Pros: This monitor has a great picture. The sound is also very good. It came with cables for all the inputs. The power is supplied by a separate power brick, rather than plugging mains power into the monitor body. I use it as a TV, plugged into the HDMI port. Fast events seem to track OK.

Cons: The bezel is very shiny. Unfortunately, shiny black plastic is endemic in industrial design nowadays.

I couldn't give the monitor five stars because the little power brick gets VERY HOT. I measured 106F in a 65 degree room, sitting on a shelf with lots of vent slots. That is not technically hot enough to cause burns, but it's hotter than any other power brick I've ever had. I could easily see this getting to 120F on carpet in a warmer room.

Pros: Price, good picture.

Cons: Very noticable Edge bleed, menu button, power button.

Other Thoughts: I like the Asus VS278Q-P Better

Power button is quite annoying not sure to hold it cuz sometimes a single press does not work. You almost have to pinch the monitor when pressing it other wise you push it back since it is a front button.

Pros: Large...sharp...black around the edges.
Looks good even when it's off...

Cons: Have to turn my head from side to side to see the whole thing...what do I do with all the extra room on my desk now that the 90lb. 21" CRT is gone?

Now watching movies in my office, I had to buy a comfy-er chair and ottoman...need to hire extra help to supply beverages and empty the bedpan...my tan is fading since I turned the brightness down...

Other Thoughts: 8 years of Acer products and they keep supplying the most bang for the buck...no dead pixels, turn the brightness down to 50% and away you go into really large screen land...anybody who thinks they can get more for less needs to put the pipe down.

Pros: Decent picture

Cons: Lousy speakers and very fragile controls.

Other Thoughts: I've owned this monitor for just about 7 months. It has a decent picture, good enough for web surfing, don't do gaming though. About three days ago, the power button broke. It isn't stuck, feels like the internal switch is mashed. I don't continually turn the monitor on and off, maybe once or twice a day. I contacted ACER support and had to chat with an outsourced customer service person. It's difficult to have a text conversation with a person who has a hard time with the English language. It took me probably 45 minutes to get an RMA. When I received the paperwork from ACER, I was surprised to find that I would have to pay for the shipping to get it fixed. I couldn't believe the restrictions they put on you. I went to UPS and found it was going to cost me over $85 to pack and ship it. They refuse to pay for the shipping. For me, I will not patronize ACER any longer. I would suggest you be wary of them also.

Pros: Arrived fast, Nice design. I use this monitor solely for high definition gaming and I can say it is brilliant on a PS3. I play alot of F1 2012 and BF3; This monitor displays both games beautifully and smoothly. I recommend this to anyone within the budget.

Cons: Lack of audio out, I was really feeling this part at all. You are stuck with the stock installed speakers until you provide another audio channel for your gaming system.

Other Thoughts: The stock speakers aren't all that bad if your monitor is facing a corner or nook as the sound is amplify itself by bouncing off the walls. (speakers are facing the back of the unit).

People say the touch panel is finicky, I sorta disagree. To me, it is no different than the panel of an ipod or ipad.
