Pros: Bought this for dual use, computer monitor and HDTV in exercise room. Very good value, hard to beat all the controls, good audio and decent image quality. Exceeded my expectations.

Cons: I little cheap looking, but not bad

Pros: Nice size, very reasonable price with the sale and 10 dollar instant coupon. Good picture, does what a monitor is supposed to.

Cons: Picks up dust and fingerprints like a mother, but that's nothing major.

Other Thoughts: Worth the money, I only bought it because it was the cheapest while still giving quality...it's Samsung, you know it's good.

Pros: The appearance and color itself is beautiful!

Cons: nothing so far.

Pros: - bright, clear image; high contrast ratio
- its close match (1360x768) to my 12.1" laptop screen resolution (1280x800) makes it an excellent choice for an external monitor
- VGA and DVI-D
- intuitive controls & menu; good control/calibration software
- stylish bezel & overall appearance
- VGA signal produces sharp text/no apparent ghosting of text

Cons: - standard stand is tilt only; will need something to put it on or a swing arm/wall mount to raise it above the level of your open laptop (unless you have a docking station a la Dell Latitude, of course)
- a perfect match to native laptop resolution (1280x800) would have been preferable, but since this monitor can be doubled as an HDTV monitor, it is quite desirable in that realm

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a larger, brighter display for my laptop (Toshiba U205-S5022 ... 2 1/2 years young ... XP Professional - upgraded to 2GB RAM - stellar investment BTW!). This fit the bill almost perfectly (see 'mini' cons listed above). My other Samsung product is a LCD TV (LN-T3253H) in use since 2007 - this monitor duplicates the quality and desirability that I have observed

Pros: Just comparing the price for it's size one can't complain, throw in the fact that it's a Samsung then the competition is over. Great image, easy to use, power saver.

Cons: Touch-sensitive controls can be a little tricky if not in a well lit room.

Other Thoughts: If you have a smaller LCD or still somehow have a CRT, this is mos def the monitor for you.

Pros: Nice, inexpensive monitors which are excellent for a small space. Includes an HDMI connection which is very unusual for less expensive monitors and was one of the reasons I purchased two of these.

Cons: Resolution is limited to 1360x768, but that is to be expected with a smaller monitor.

Other Thoughts: Purchased two of these because of the price, size and HDMI connection. I use them on a small desk at home with my ASUS Netbook to enable me to work from home for my Web Design business.

Pros: -Low power consumption
-Cheap
-Easy set up
-Bright

Cons: -The buttons are a pain, I don't plan on adjusting the settings often though, so no big deal.
-1360 x 768, I'm used to 1280x1024 at least.
-Not as crisp as my old CRT, I knew this before I bought it though.

Other Thoughts: Upgrading from a 21" CRT for the power savings, the 943 is supposed to use only 20 watts while active, less than a watt in sleep, the average for LCD monitors seem to be around 35-45 watts. There are lower power monitors, but they cost twice as much, and only offer a few watts more in power savings.

I got this pretty cheap as an open box, looks new, everything included, no dead pixels.

Pros: Bought two of these to add to my existing multimonitor setup, and they're simply excellent. Picture quality is flawless, the monitors themselves look great, and the touch-sensitive "buttonless" controls were a very nice, unexpected bonus.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: Bear in mind the native resolution of these monitors is 1360 x 768. Fine for me as I was just using them for status monitoring purposes, but they might be less ideal for use as a primary monitor.

Other Thoughts: Bought this monitor locally hoping for a quick plug and go addition to my laptop. Out of the box the monitor's colors and contrast looked great, but the vertical sync was off. This took a couple of hours for me to figure out but now I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros: nice wide view for a cheap price, and a cool look to it. Plus, it doesn't take much space for a monitor this big.

Cons: max resolution could be higher.

Other Thoughts: the contrast ratio is nice, and like I said, the max resolution could be higher than it is to really help support 1080p, but I'm still happy with it.
