Rosewill RIKB-11002 Slim Keyboard with Low Profile Chiclet Keycap Design

Pros: Cheap. Black.

Cons: Cheapest feeling keyboard I have ever owned. While this Chinese knockoff of an apple slim USB keyboard looks the part, it does not feel a thing like the real one which I also own on my MacBook Pro. It's light, dare I say flimsy? Feling and I don't like how the keys react to being pressed.

Other Thoughts: Would buy a more expensive (non rosewill) product if I could do it again, but I just wanted a cheap USB keyboard for an extra machine in my office. It works, but I don't expect it to last very long either.

Pros: The chiclet keys work well and the keyboard is a little smaller than most.

Cons: Making the keyboard a little smaller also moves all the cursor keys from their normal position, which ensures a retraining period.

Other Thoughts: This would be a great keyboard for travel.

Pros: Super light weight. I have been using it for over a year, and it is still working fine.

Cons: Low end keyboard. Not up to gamer standards, or probably even someone really wanting typing speed or whatever.

Other Thoughts: For a usable lower tier keyboard this is exceptional. Lower tier is not good for everyone.

Pros: Great and cheap. Nice key feels for those not really into mechs or looking for something cheap. Also great for typing.

Cons: None

Pros: Slim Design, comfortable to type on. Smooth transfer from a slim design laptop keyboard.

Cons: As cited by some other users reviews on Newegg my keyboard began having input problems within it's first few days of use. It was inputing numbers instead of letters. Ex.: i = 5, o =6. I had to constantly unplug and replug the USB cable to get it back to normal. It did have a somewhat short cable, but since my tower is close it wasn't as much of a problem for me as cited by other users.

Other Thoughts: This occurrence is unfortunate because I really liked the slim design and the cheap price. You pay for what you get in this case I guess. I RMA'd it.

Pros: is quite small
economical price
fairly standard keyboard layout, and odd bits are easily learned
narrow spacing between keys means less reaching

Cons: right shift key began sticking within a month, with a few others later
cable is short for anything but desktop type use, even then
bad tactile feel on key presses, very mushy
some keys need to be pressed especially hard
cheap plastic, to be expected
stand tabs broke off very quickly, rubber pads came off too eventually

Other Thoughts: Bought to use with my latop-as-desktop setup in my room. It lasted 6 months, but already had several problems crop up. The wiring itself however held up very well despite the frequent movement. Second keyboard to die by frustration in League of Legends.

Previous keyboard from Rosewill was the RK-7431 Super Slim with Scissor-Key Switches. It had better construction, and excellent key feel while still in the sub-$20 range. I had hoped this keyboard would have similar quality. I can't speak to the other models currently available. Rosewill is still my choice for ultra-cheap USB keyboards, just know that sometimes the product will be a miss.

Pros: Nice look . great keyboard for the price, at the time. The membrane key felt really great while typing.

Cons: The indicator light made the keyboard look rather cheap . and the Rosewill logo was rather place in an annoying location to me.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommended that keyboard to my entry level user friends

Cons: A few keys love to be pressed hard to work right

Other Thoughts: I wouldnt pay more than 5 dollars for this keyboard.

Pros: Keys press easy, not like Microsoft keyboards.

Cons: Didn't come with a free "Intell i7 Xtreme" with mobo for review : )

Other Thoughts: Bought some Premiere Pro keyboard key stickers and put them om this unit for Premiere pro. Saved about $150.00 Adobe : )

Pros: *This is an update from my previous review.

The keyboard itself is excellent, just as stated before. Especially love the sound the spacebar makes.

Cons: Previously stated the USB cable was far too short. I was required to purchase an additional USB extension cable after I received the product.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill's customer service was by far the greatest experience. They took care of my problem instantly and has exceeded my expectations. I have purchased products from Rosewill previously, but this experience will definitely have me purchasing more from them. EXCELLENT service.
