1 out of 5 eggsSevere lag issue

Pros: It's a good price, and I've always had a good experience with Logitech.

Cons: Severe lag issue, especially in games. Unifying receiver is within 1/2 meter, and all fresh batteries. All drivers up to date. No other transmission sources within 3m. Characters typed are hit and miss... more time based than per character. Keyboard will become non-responsive for several seconds and then work for several seconds. Spews queued characters. Mouse is similar... visibly choppy motion.

Other Thoughts: Googled the problem, and have found reports of this issue dating back to 2006. Yikes! Logitech occasionally chimes in with level-0 tech support (lip service), but no solutions ever.
Try a different model, or a different brand.

1 out of 5 eggsReplacement Bad Also

Pros: The mouse is great. I like the design of the keyboard, but I'm not a touch-typist or even a good keyboarder.

Cons: This is my second keyboard, and it started out good, but now it lags. Logitech just sent me the replacement with minimal problems or questions. That now makes me think they know there is an issue.
I never had a problem like this with Microsoft...I just couldn't stand their keyboard design. Still can't.

Other Thoughts: I wish there were a firmware update that would correct this issue.

My rating has gone down to one egg now.

2 out of 5 eggsFail design

Pros: Inexpensive - works ok for the most part

Cons: No numlock indicator.

Logitech thinks I should load an application to enable an onscreen indicator that the numlock is on.

That's a paddlin'!

Other Thoughts: Removing this model from our purchase list.

I like Logitech historically, but I fear they are trying to play to the bottom of the purchasing curve.

We don't live there, so I guess I need to find a more professional model.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mid-Range Combo

Pros: - Build quality is solid
- Fast response time
- One tiny USB receiver for both the mouse and keyboard
- Mouse is smooth and keyboard keys are bouncy, but not overly bouncy

Cons: - Not really a Con, but the keyboard could use more media hot-keys, and maybe some programmable keys
- Keyboard is a bit bulky

Other Thoughts: It's pretty cool that the mouse and kb have on/off switches. The price I paid was great ($40). You can't go wrong with Logitech either. I've never had a bad device made by Logitech.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat combo

Pros: Flexible positioning of keyboard and mouse
No wires to get in the way
Comfortable keyboard

Cons: I have 3 at work and 1 at home. Took away 1 star because the "Ctrl" key sticks on 1 of the 4. The other 3 work great.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Too Shabby

Pros: Great little setup. It was cheap, and runs off of 1 usb connector.

Cons: the mouse leaves a lot to be desired. I use this as my work setup, and while the keyboard is great, the mouse could use some work for sure. I might be replacing it as it's just not quite amazing

5 out of 5 eggsMy wife loves it

Pros: Awesome signal range! Feels somewhat cheaply built but it is built pretty tough. Has reasonable heft to it.

Cons: wish the keys were mechanical

Other Thoughts: My wife loves it

1 out of 5 eggsWorst keyboard I've ever owned.

Pros: Wireless. Basic functionality... mostly.

Cons: HUGE latency issue.

After a few months, the keyboard would simply stop typing for 10-45 seconds at a time. When the lag was up, it would spit out (most of) whatever I typed all at once.

I thought it was something with Linux, but I had the same problem when I used the keyboard on windows. Found forums where this problem was mentioned all over.

In addition, the keys feel mushy and non-responsive.

Terrible keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't expecting much from my keyboard. I didn't want mechanical clacking or high-speed gaming performance. I just wanted a keyboard that could type effectively.
