4 out of 5 eggsGreat Device, Needs Tweaking

Pros: -Love the backlight colors. Currently matching my DeathAdder mouse.
-The LCD display is pretty cool.
-Nice large keys.
-Some default configurations for certain games will work.

Cons: -Before you purchase this, you need to be aware that you will need to tweak your key binds for every game. Although Logitech has some default profiles for select games, even these require review. Ex: The Battlefield binds didn't even include a Sprint button!

5 out of 5 eggsMine is finally dying

Pros: After several years of getting pounded on, my G13 is finally dying. Something is causing little bolts of lightening to arc through the LCD screen when I press the button to select a new profile, which is causing the screen to become unusable, I think the "W" (G11) keys is about to become not a key soon also. Best peripheral I've ever had. Lasted at least 4 years, all while taking major abuse. The size of the buttons makes it super easy to differentiate between them, and the setup of the base keeps your hand from ever cramping. And it's a Logitech. Wit all that going for it, you'd be dumb not to buy it, even if you already have 2. Oh ya, price is killer too.

Cons: I don't have 2

Other Thoughts: Oh, you don't want to hear about the other thoughts that are roaming around in my head

5 out of 5 eggsGreat item

Pros: I have 3 of these one is broken (soon to be fixed with a part from an x-box type controller), one is new and one has been repaired by me using a mouse part. (don't ask) I love these. I find I can't game anymore without them. Best thing I have ever purchased. The one I use the most is the repaired one with the mouse part. These are tuff as nails. I have thrown them, beat them, dropped them. I haven't tried fire yet but that's next on my list. I get mad when I die in game and after about 5 deaths in a row, I take it out on the poor controller or the mouse.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Love it. I love only having to use one finger for WASD.

Cons: The rubber bottom pieces get a little worn early. One of them are already sliding off.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Very comfortable to use
Lots of keys to program
Bright Lcd display screen
Long cable to reach around my setup to my computer
Custom back light to match your setup
Looks great
Solid feel

Cons: Some of the keys are a little awkward to use like the thumb button beside the joystick. If the joystick and buttons were moved a little more to the other keys would be nice.

Other Thoughts: I would REALLY recommend this to anyone who love anything from first person shooter to mmorpg's.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, Solid gamepad. Recommended buy.

Pros: The big advantage of this setup is replacing the old WASD movement controls with the handy thumbstick. Stopping forward movement whenever you need to activate an ability becomes a thing of the past.

The ergonomics took me a few days to get used to, but after trying a few configurations on my desk, I was able to use it without any numbness or discomfort.

I personally enjoyed the LCD screen a lot, I usually play my games in windowed mode, but with autohide taskbar, and being able to run the time and date on the LCD meant that I can glance over and see the time without having you mouse out of the game.

I enjoyed the ability to change the backlight to any color, it was cool to have it match my mouse and tower with the click of a button.

The keybind controls are pretty advanced, you can set up instant release for games that trigger abilities on button release instead of button press, multi keybinds are easy. I have an alt+tab keybind on my g13 and I use it all the time.

Cons: The biggest issue with this pad is that some games have compatibility issues. I bought it for ESO and it worked like a dream, but when I play STO, alt tabbing switches the profile and it takes a second or two for me to regain control from the g13. Sometimes if I'm turning and firing off keys it acts up on STO. It's still usable or else I would not have given the g13 5 stars, there's just some issues to get used to.

Other Thoughts: If you're trying to decide between this and the Razer product line, I recommend the g13 for MMOs and the Razer line for shooters.

The LCD gives less benefit in a shooter where you literally cannot look away, but you get more buttons and a higher quality thumbstick with the g13. The improved ergonomics on the Orbweaver are more useful in a shooter. Just my 1c. Enjoy!

5 out of 5 eggsIm Back Baby!

Pros: Im not sure where to start so let me begin by saying Thanks!!! I hadnt gamed in a few years due to work. In that time I have developed carpal tunnel syndrome in my left arm. An old friend turned me onto DayZ (online multiplayer game) and I suddenly found myself cracked out. So I have a new game machine, Im back to getting my game on, but cant find the gas in my left arm to play very long at a time. I was about ready to give in and give up on the gaming when I took the time to look into a gamepad. And Im glad I did.

After many hours pouring over reviews online I decided to go with this one. Logitech usually delivers quality goods and this gamepad is no exception. Does this thing feel strange when you first get on it? Yea, sure. But it doesnt take long to get used to either. And once you are familiar with it you near bout forget you have been propped up on it for hours. Now I can run and play my games free willy style instead of having to dip out after less than an hour from fatigue.

If you are reading reviews and people are bashing the software...its OK..they're uninformed and apparently dont have a clue. I also own the Logitech G502 Proteus mouse and havent had an issue with it one bit for either device. Its all pretty much drag/drop, point/klik. I had one profile set in less than ten minutes and was up and running. If you have had no experience with one of these dont b scared; its painless. I never use default settings so I cared less about the tons of preprogrammed profiles for the myriad of games out there that I dont play. Buy this thing, program the way U want it and forget all the squash... dont let that b the only thing stopping you.

Any color in the spectrum rite there at your becking call read to light up your desktop along with all your groovy case fans. Always a bonus!!!!

I use the joystick for tons of stuff so I dont know why people cry about its use...? Its 5 functions for your FPS and such...get creative...I luv it. I even use it for acrade style Mortal Kombat action...I get old school with this thing, its sweet!!!

This is the first gamepad Ive ever used so I got no ideas on how some devices may 'over ride' other devices like a mouse. Ive never had that experience so I didnt let those type reviews hinder me either. I have access and use of all my devices and none of them override each other...everything works simultaneously!!! Its great...

Im not such a dork that I keep a close eye on cpu while gaming. I try to keep a pc from getting critical while gaming...just makes sense...but if you're that guy then u have the ability to do so while n game. U can upload sms for n game use, store profiles to the gamepad so u can take it anywhere with you without reconfig. I watched a review of a guy running through a server setup with this device. Pretty impressive all the macros the device is capable of.

I get to game tirelessly, it looks super sweet, is easy to config....and at a competitive price...worth it in the long run

Cons: It didnt purchase itself.

Other Thoughts: Dont throw in the towel on your long session gaming action due to an illness....with a lil creativity and time (not much) you will b master of your domain once again!

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech G-13 Gaming keypad

Pros: Folks this gaming keypad is a gaming advantage once you get use to the keys : like muscle memory. Its an unfair advantage to you the possessor of this perfect keypad.
Logitech really knew what they where doing when they designed this piece of genius. I have owned this keypad for years, yes years ever since it came to market and I haven't regretted a single day. I can say that now, there is no way I can play without it; and that's the on my heart, stack of bibles ever-loving TRUTH.

Cons: Absolutely NONE :)

5 out of 5 eggsGaming on the next level!

Pros: I love this new game board! It has so many features that i had to spend a decent amount of time becoming aware of all of it's features, and will be working with this a lot to take
my game to the next level!

The logitech software is relatively intuitive, and the number of games it has configurations for is huge.

At first, there was a real learning curve. Learning another device means that I am going to have to learn it from scratch, just as if i was learning to use a keyboard or mouse from scratch. It feels a bit odd at first, but I'm slowly adjusting.

The LED display is bright, you can change the color, and the readout gives you anything you need to know at that time.

The joystick and buttons are easily programmed, and feel very solid, I can't find anything negative!

Macro's aren't all that hard for even a novice to build, so be prepared to be blown away with how useful this little gadget can be.

I would recommend this to anyone starting to learn how to operate a gameboard, and to experienced users alike.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Even if you are not a normal player of first person shooters, it is good practice to figure out this device using a practice game. I wouldn't recommend stressing it too much the first few days you own it, but it's great for adjusting to the feel of the controls, and will help you gauge how comfortable you are getting with it.

2 out of 5 eggsgreat idea if it worked

Pros: lots of keys available that you can reassign with the software

Cons: Analog thumbstick, but good luck finding a game that can use it as such. It registers as two separate devices, a keyboard and a one button gamepad (only the stick is considered the gamepad). So you can't really use it as a gamepad because most game engines automatically disable keyboard , leaving you with only one button.

Other Thoughts: Apparently most people use the stick to emulate keyboard keys, which seems self-defeating to me. I was just disappointed since I bought it for the purpose of having an analog stick for driving. I know most games automatically disable mouse and keys when you enable gamepad but I figured Logitech had worked a way around that if they were selling a keyboard with a stick.
