5 out of 5 eggsPortable

Pros: I've bought so many versions of this product I've lost track. I never have any problems with it being recognized by Windows XP, 2K etc. I even use one to backup my laptop at home each time my laptop shuts down.

Cons: It didn't take me out to dinner!

Other Thoughts: I see where some people say it's "not portable by today's standards". Bull! What's today's standard? It's a 2.5" hard drive enclosure not a USB thumb drive! I have clients who use these as backup and then drop them into their purse at the end of the day.

5 out of 5 eggsI'd Buy It Again - In Fact I Did.

Pros: This little thing is the handiest drive I've ever had. You don't need a power adapter - it powers off whatever you plug it in to, it can hold a lot of information in a very small space. I've had it for years with no problems whatsoever. I bought a 40GB one, then the 80 GB drive and both keep on ticking.

Cons: I can't think of any really - this drive exceeds expectations for small size, dependability and versatility.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years of use, missing screws, and several drops - still works

Pros: I've had this drive for 3-4 years now and it still works. I've dropped it a couple of times and I'm missing all but one screw on the underside that holds the casing together.

Cons: Big. Heavy. Definitely not portable - especially by today standards.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I have this in the 120GB model and it has been working fine for more than a year and a half now. I've dropped it several times and still it functions great. It's fast enough to work off of large .PSD and .AI files.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: it comes formated in FAT32 (for Mac users). I recommend reformating it in NTFS if you're not planning on using it on a Mac.
