Pros: Holds plenty, spins quick, works fine.

Cons: Vibrates more than other drives I've had in the past. Not sure whether to be concerned about that.

Other Thoughts: Still working great to this day.

Pros: got this for a build for my daughter installed and put windows 7 pro on it no problems it took about 30 minutes from start to up and running with it so about average drive price was good selling point

Cons: it is not a western digital black but then it not cost the same either

Pros: NONE!! Absolutely zero! Nyet. Damen! Kaput!! Zafacon!!

Cons: This Seagate owned conglomerate is making the worst junk. They used to be top notch. Now they are making trash, and their return policy is to have you return your unit at your expense, and then they send you a unit that has already been returned!! I am on HD #3 with the same results. I am a COMP TIA A+ certified tech of 12 years!! TERRIBLE!

Other Thoughts: DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$$$!

Pros: This hard drive has been very reliable for me. It withstood the abuse of using at my primary drive with the OS installed until I was able to afford an SSD.

Two years after buying this hard drive, it is still working hard and is still very reliable.

Cons: Little loud at times, including at startup and heavy load, but I dont really care to much about that.

Other Thoughts: Sad that these has been discontinued. Would definitely buy more of them if they were still being sold.

Pros: Quiet, cheap, large memory.

Cons: Crashed after using it for roughly four months. It crashed when I started transferring large files across from another computer.

Pros: Great access times, quiet and not too hot

Cons: Failed after 8 months

Other Thoughts: SSD is the way to go from now on!

Pros: good purchase, it's still going strong after more than a year

Cons: none that I can think of, I would recommend you spend the extra and get 1+1/2tb or 2tb

Pros: It does everything as advertised and the price was great. Samsung is known for great quality products and the best SSD, Display, and Phone maker around. I put this in a friends pc and the load time is fast. It has been in his pc for over 4 months now without issue.

Cons: None so far. I only wish I could have picked up another one for myself, but I will have to wait for my tax return for that.

Other Thoughts: I will report back if it fails. UPS was great and packaging is what you would expect from an OEM. I am just happy there was a liberal ammount of bubble wrap.

Pros: It works, and has shown no signs of failure, after about 10 months of use

Cons: I don't care, and I don't expect anybody else will, but it's not in any sort of retail packaging. it shipped in a plain brown box, with good padding from bubble wrap, and paper insulation.

Other Thoughts: It's nothing special, but it works; which is more than can be said for a lot of mechanical hard drives these days.

It obviously feels slow compared to my SSD, but it's no slower or faster than any other 7200RPM drive.

Pros: It works well when it's working. R/W speeds are quite good.

Cons: My drive was constantly plagued by bad sectors and abnormally high raw read error rates. Today it's finally kicking the bucket, I suppose. Windows spat out an error message about drive failure. HD Sentinel reports that it's caused by the read errors, and Seatools does mark the drive as failing.

Other Thoughts: My drive is from before Seagate bought out Samsung's HDD department. One thing I noticed on the product page is the warranty being cut to two years from three. On Seagate's website, my drive is still under warranty until September 2013, which means Samsung-produced drives haven't had their warranties reduced.
