Great Hard Drive

Pros: The speed of these drives is intense for a non-SSD hard drive. Great reliability, I own 3 and none have died.
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: I have 2 in Raid 0 and one as a storage for games other backups essential to my setup. The Raid 0 is very fast, I definitely recommend getting a couple of these if you want the space and fast speed. Not nearly as fast as a SSD but you get much more storage and in raid 0 they are pretty darn fast!

Good Drives

Pros: Drives have two 320gb platters and perform well. I have 4 of these running in a RAID 5 config and a spare laying around.

No issues.
Cons: The price per gb isn't so great anymore, you get more space per $ on 1.5 and 2 tb drives.
Other Thoughts: Got two more of these to grow the RAID 5 set. I'll move up to the 2tb drives when they become more reliable. (Current statistics show a 22% chance of at least one 2tb drive failing in the first 3 years when run in raid 5)

I've upgraded to a 3ware raid controller so I'm hoping the increased number of spindles will give me that 600MB/s write speed (800MB/s read) that they claim they can hit.

Pros: i knew what i was getting when i bought this drive. was trying to save a buck on the drive. works flawlessly in raid-0
Cons: wish i had picked up the RE3 WD drives for my raid array.
