Pros: Reads the mess it's supposed to read.
Comes with 2 color plates.
Doesn't destroy SD cards.

Cons: Never once called me "Master"

Cons: doesn't do all types of removable memory cards

Other Thoughts: If your looking for a portable reader that only handles a few types of cards...then this is for you...

Pros: You put a memory card in it, stick it in a USB port

Cons: Not pretty.

Other Thoughts: This does what you would expect it to do. That's what I wanted. Great.

Pros: It was free.

Cons: It arrived smashed. The plastic case is cracked, and I won't put a card in it because I fear it may become stuck.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if it works. I never bothered to try it. I didn't want it bad enough to pay for one, but I still could've used it

Pros: I received this as a free item in a combo deal and I have to say I love this thing! I use it to connect various SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards to my Raspberry Pi's powered hub and it works with anything I can throw at it.

Cons: ZERO

Other Thoughts: Can't say enough good things about this.

Pros: Extra card reader. Free gift from another purchase.

Cons: Would receive power, but no data on delivery.

Other Thoughts: I disassembled it and resoldered the USB and card reader contacts and now it works perfectly. I couldn't point at exactly one side or the other, but some solder points looked a bit starved, so I touched them all up.

Pros: have not had a chance to use it much since my camera has usb built in but i did not buy a card reader addon card for my pc so this will come handy when i do end up needing it

Cons: Was basically DOA, would not ready ANY micro cards that i had. Have several, 512mb up to 8gb, and not a single one works in this. Checked every USB port to assure it wasn't on my end. Tried the card reader on computer to assure it wasn't my cards, each card read fine. For sure not very good quality.

Pros: Would have been a nice extra portable reader.

Cons: Would receive power, but no data when plugged in to several different PCs. I suspect either poor solder job and/or damaged main chip (which is covered by dome of epoxy).

Other Thoughts: May be repairable if it's a solder touch-up job on non chip related connection points. I got this as a free gift with my modular power supply so there's no real loss here, but a bit
of a disappointment that something so simple is so easily useless.

Pros: USB 2.0 and red light is handy to show it is connected.

Other Thoughts: I got this card reader free with the purchase of a PSU. Works very good, does what it is supposed to do and gets the job done. I don't see a reason why I would need to buy a different one. I recommend it to others.
