5 out of 5 eggsQuick and Cheap

Pros: Decently fast transfer speeds and a great price. It also features a capless design, which is great.

Cons: Feels like the cheapest thing ever made. It's very light, and you can hear the components click around on the interior plastic walls when you shake it, grab it, or unsheath the drive connector.

HOWEVER: It has not broken on me yet, and I have owned it for 9 months and used it a fair amount. The feel doesn't give you confidence, but just treat it well.

Other Thoughts: It doesn't like to work on many Windows 8 devices, namely my Iconia W700-6465 tablet.

5 out of 5 eggsTeam Ez Go Software ?

Pros: It is a rather speedy flash drive compared to the one I had in the past. As for the capacity and having USB 3.0 the price was spot on. I'm happy with the drive itself but... I'm wondering about Team Group's customer support or rather lack thereof.

Cons: Heres the question has anyone even looked at the back of the pkg...? You'll notice free software at the Mfg site... I got the Team EZ Go software... Then Enter serial number..what number???.Funny how the SN: on the sticker on the pgk says invalid when I typed it into the field... Useless Booo

Other Thoughts: The teamgroup website was not much help nor was the lady I was on the phone with... She seemed lost in space..

5 out of 5 eggsThere is an LED

Pros: A red LED is under the black insert on the top side.

Cons: LED is dim. But then I've seen some so bright they strobe the entire room.

Other Thoughts: Too bad I couldn't just edit the 8/24 review that I wrote up before I noticed the LED watching a 24 GB m2ts movie in my darkened AV room. And I failed to mention... Newegg Rocks!

5 out of 5 eggsScreaming Deal.

Pros: My fastest USB stick to date has been a Rosewill RSD-CR106 stuffed with a 8GB Class 10 SD. A 3.6 GB file writes at 19 MB/s. That same file sees 10 MB/s with a dual channel 8 GB OCZ Rally 2 and 24 MB/s for this Team SR1. All those are Fat 32 formatted and connected to a Z77 natively controlled USB 3.0 port on the back I/O panel of my i7-3770K system.

Just for grins, I copied a 480 MB file to an ancient 512 MB Corsair Voyager at 15 MB/s. Pretty snappy. But then it is SLC memory, after all.

Reformatting the Team as NTFS, a 6.1 GB files wrote at 45 MB/s. A folder containing 1183 1.0 KB files in 91 folders copied over in 10 seconds.

Cons: No LED. I'll never find a lanyard for this thing. Neither is worth loosing a star.

Other Thoughts: Contrary to other reviewers here, I don't find the casing to be cheap or flimsy. Indeed, the plastic seems to be of the high impact variety common to the indestructible Chinese toys flooding the toy stores. The sliding connector is funky but all it takes is a bit of getting used to. I'm having no problems with fit, finish or physical use of this product.

Considering local retails are selling 32 GB 2.0 flash drives for about $15, this deal here at $19.99 is... Screaming!

5 out of 5 eggsCheap and works!

Pros: I love this drive. It's super fast and I threw tons of ISOs, utilities, and applications on here and I've only used around 15gb. This size is honestly perfect, and I don't think I will ever need DVDs/CDs again!

Cons: Plastic housing is cheap as mentioned by almost any other reviewer, but with the closest 32GB USB3 drive being almost double the price, this is totally worth it.

Other Thoughts: Buy it, for the price you pay it is definitely worth it and the size is right at the sweet spot, enough for what you want a room for more.

2 out of 5 eggsFast and Cheap

Pros: Fast, cheap, and good capacity. I use it just on USB 2.0 ports and it's way faster than all my 2.0 flash drives.

Cons: Cheap, very low quality. The casing is extremely cheap and doesn't hold up well to being banged around a bit. The big problem, however, is that the drive slides out of the casing and I now have to prop the casing up to get any pc to even register that the drive is plugged in. Been using it mostly daily for about six months, but now it's unusable without the unnecessary inconvenience.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy it again and don't recommend it to anyone else. You can get better quality drives for the same price.

4 out of 5 eggsCould be worse

Pros: Reliable storage. Very fast read and substantial write speeds.

Cons: I find the slide out USB to be very annoying. I often have trouble getting the USB to stay out so that I can plug it into a crowded USB port.

Other Thoughts: If you are only going to use the drive for free and available front USB ports, it's a great drive as you can easily hold the slider to ensure it does not retract into its case when plugging it in.

4 out of 5 eggsFeels flimsy, but OK so far!

Pros: Fast installation! Flash drive didn't come with the bloatware that most others does. In fact, it came with nothing on the drive, totally blank, which is what I prefer.

Cons: Feels flimsy compared to all of my other USB Flash drives, reason for deduction of one egg. Time will tell the final story as to whether or not I buy any more Team products. Won't do so until I see how this holds up.

Other Thoughts: This is my 1st USB3 Flash drive, have plenty of USB2 ones around. Originally bought this to run XP Mode on (Win 7 Pro x64), but my notebook's USB drivers/controller isn't configured properly.

So I stored my 2 recovery partitions to it, & have room left over. The product is said to retain data for 10 years, so we'll see on that.

The flimsiness of the product concerns me. If one used this daily, I'd be concerned as to how it holds up. This wasn't a $5 Flash drive, it was a $29 one, & should have been built as such. To be honest, I'm afraid to use it daily. Should have went with the other brand that I had on my wish list.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: none because it wouldn't install

Cons: what a time waster, wish someone had checked out this product before Newegg sold it, it wouldn't work, company acknowledged problems

Other Thoughts: what a waste of time to have to send it back after ordering it
