4 out of 5 eggsRam, Ram Everywhere

This review is from: CORSAIR ValueSelect 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model CMV16GX3M2A1600C11

Pros: Ram worked flawlessly, used these sticks to bring board to capacity.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Corsair ram has never failed me. OK, well that's not entirely true I have had bad ram from Corsair before, but the company has never failed me. I purchase Corsair ram because of their companies support. If you say the Ram failed a Mem test, they ship new.

Be weary of bad Memory testing programs though, stick to MemTest86, I have had others not detect errors. (Yes, it has 64 bit support, the 86 is just part of the name.) memtest86.com

5 out of 5 eggsIt works!

This review is from: CORSAIR ValueSelect 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model CMV16GX3M2A1600C11

Pros: Its cheap, was recognized without bios adjustments at rated speed, has lifetime warranty, cheap, and easy to max out M/B slots with 32gigs of these for photoshop and dreamweaver use. Not a gamer so cant comment on that, but if you are, you probably wouldnt be looking at these. More like crucial...

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: need more for second build!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

This review is from: CORSAIR ValueSelect 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model CMV16GX3M2A1600C11

Pros: You really can't beat this for the price. I have a Gigabyte 970A-D3 that wanted to run this at 1333. I just upped it to run at 1600 and no issues whatsoever. Ample memory testing reveals no issues and Windows Experience checks in at 7.8 - I'll be buying one more of these soon to max out the ram on this mobo to 32 GB.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I took off the plastic sticker on either side of the chips. It came off in one piece quite easily. I did this in the case that I needed some sort of heatsink. I plan on running 6-8 VMs on this machine.

1 out of 5 eggsWouldn't recommend

This review is from: CORSAIR ValueSelect 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model CMV16GX3M2A1600C11

Pros: -Worked for a day
-Delivered on time

Cons: One stick failed after a days use.

Other Thoughts: Delivery from Newegg was timely and everything came in good condition except for this memory (unless something else fails soon, lets hope not).

Hopefully i can get this replaced...
