Cons: Like others have said, it had a tendency to fail after a few months. I work at a PC repair shop and used it pretty much every day. Worked great until one day it stopped working in any PC. Windows wants to format it, and will fail to format it when I try to. Linux simply fails to mount it. Based on other things I've read about this drive, I'm not even going to bother trying to RMA. I'll just buy another drive that isn't this one. Maybe I'll make a personal project out of trying to fix this one myself before trashing it. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: RMA'd 6 of these units, and their replacements fail after 1-2 months. Unfortunately, another is failing currently. Will not RMA or replace with another Corsair flash drive. Cons: I have had two RMA's so far and about to have to do a third. I must be incredibly unlucky cause these things work for a little while then all of a sudden no computer will read it. Just a heads up you might be thinking oh he just pulls the drive out and it gets corrupt. Well this is not the case I always eject the drive before removing. Did you find this review helpful? I've never had any problems with them and have worked for more then a year+. I really enjoy the rubberized casing that surrounds it. I've dropped this thing more then I can count and always works like a charm. I am not experiencing the heat issue at all, although, it is winter time. Cons: I got about 180 MB/s read and 45 MB/s write, so not as fast as the 220/55 advertised. However, I'm not using the mightiest of motherboards either (ASUS Micro ATX P8H77-M PRO with only 2 USB 3.0 slots). Not a big deal, thought. It's fast enough for me. Pros: This USB 3.0 Flash Drive from Corsair is a perfect solution for anyone who needs to utilize their USB 3.0 port with a new faster technology with more speed. This drive does not come with any bloatware. Or just the software, that I find annoying. Like formatting software, file organization, and backup software. Some like it, but I don't. The rubber housing looks and feels nice. Also the color scheme matching my laptop perfectly. Cons: The only thing I was disappointed in, was that no cable or lanyard was included with the flash drive. The description does not mention this, and I did not expect it, but I remember back in the day when flash drives came out. Most onlcuded a lanyard. I remember my first flash drive, which was a Memorex 1 GB USB 2.0 traveldrive, it inlcuded this awesome black lanyard with the Memorex logo on it.
