3 out of 5 eggsStill Running Like A Champ!

Pros: -Bought the 360gb version back in 8/2013 and its still working with no big issues yet. Not sure why it hasn't died yet like a lot of others seem to have had happen with theirs. I am hoping they figure out the problem and it get fixed soon.

Cons: -Been noticing a big slow down in the write speeds, but still manageable
-360gb version been pulled from shelves everywhere and the few supplies I can find on random sites are wanting close to $700 for it. Forgot how much I paid for mine but it was about half that I believe so its nearly doubled in price. Not sure if there is a permanent problem with this GB size or what the heck is going on. Really sucks because was wanting to put 2 of these in Raid since im needing a bit more space

Other Thoughts: -Gave it 3 eggs because my current one is still running with no major issues as of yet. Wanted to give it 5 eggs, but with it being pulling from shelves and there supposedly being a pretty big problem with this version from what im reading from other reviews.
-Please Corsair fix whatever seems to be the deal with this product. Really wanting a 2nd one but not going to spend $700 on another one, that's just ridiculous!

5 out of 5 eggsSSD FTW

Pros: Excellent! Have had the SSD for over a year and never had a problem. I would recommend this product to a friend. With the discount, I may think of adding another to my system.

Cons: None so far.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so great after all

Pros: Fast, quiet

Cons: Crashes daily. Bios stops seeing it. Have to do a complete power down for it to work again. Fails updating its firmware and at cloning it.

Other Thoughts: I initially gave this 5 stars back when I bought it because I was astonished by its speed. It was great for awhile and then it would crash once a week and now its almost a daily thing. My screen freezes or its the bsod. When I would reboot and go into the bios it would be the same thing, no ssd listed. The only way to get it recognized by the bios again was to do a complete power down. When trying to update its firmware it fails. I can't even clone this drive. I tried 3 different cloning software (including Corsairs Toolbox) and they all failed. I'm basically ready to go back to the hard drives.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair Force Series GS CSSD-F360GBGS-BK 2.5" 360GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Other Thoughts: Seems like a regular occurrence with this product. Would not recommend it.

1 out of 5 eggsFast, but dead

Pros: Fast drive. Great when it works. No BSOD with Windows 7 64 bit doing games, editing, graphic design, and video processing, etc.

Cons: Drive died 2.5 months after using. No clue how. Computer didn't have issues, didn't do anything out of the norm. BIOS just stopped recognizing drive. Trouble shot the heck out of it ranging from BIOS settings to special programs to special hardware connections and nothing would get it to recognize. Also, the back up I made of the drive was corrupt so I lost quite a bit of information ranging from a $10,000 client project to some scripts I've written. Pretty stressful situation that cost me quite the pretty penny.

Other Thoughts: I've read up on these drives and found a pretty large group of people experiencing the same issue. Not just with Corsair but all SSD's. To me, they seem to know about the issue but released these drives anyway knowing people will lose data pretty quick. I've even talked it over with two different tech guys at Corsair and they know about the issues. So why sell the product if you know it is going to break almost immediately? I got the RMA process going, but I'm a bit frustrated over the fact I now have to pay for shipping, then I paid new price for basically a refurbished drive I'll be getting here shortly. Didn't give me a discount or pay for shipping or even offer a data recovery reimbursement plan. If it happens again, I'll be writing off SSD's, regardless of their great speed and reliability with normal operations.

1 out of 5 eggsBoot Disk Not Found

Pros: Fast, worked great when it worked.

Cons: The drive somehow erased its own boot sector. Running a PC, didn't update, shut down the computer after doing some graphic design like any other day, the next morning the drive was gone. BIOS sees it, but can't see what size it is or the information on there. Doesn't see any boot sector on it. Tried repair options through CMD prompt and using the Windows Repair disc. Nothing got it to recognize. Even when the disc is in, windows won't even recognize that the device is there. Lost major client data and about a month of work on the current project. Had drive installed and running for just 2 months.

Other Thoughts: I did some research and apparently many SSD's are frequently eating their own boot sectors. Not sure why, but it seems to be a big issue and Corsair claims to know nothing about it. Maybe I got a bad drive, maybe these SSD's don't have their kinks worked out yet. All I know is I am out a huge paycheck and reputation and all Corsair can do is RMA me a used (instead of new) SSD with the same potential problems.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't last long

Pros: None

Cons: Purchased Unit in September and it lasted until 02/01/2014. HUGE issue and not worth the hype. Smaller intel one I purchased is working flawlessly.
