Other memory looks like it could get in the way of my heat sink. This sits nicely underneath it. Works great and very happy with the selection. Enabled the XMP on my BIOS and with the 8GB of Crucial Ballistix that my system came with, the 16GB of RAM I have is nearly unbeatable. Extremely stable. Left Bioshock Infinite running just to get the sticks warmed up and broken in and the game never crashed, stuttered, or anything after maybe 6 hours of the game just running. Max temp I've seen my RAM hit is 53c.. not bad. Super cool when paired with the Corsair Dominator air flow RAM fans. With XMP enabled @1600mhz the sticks are sitting at 23c right now. Haven't tried overclocking, there's really no need.... Cons: Not a single one. Other Thoughts: First booted up my machine after installing the sticks and they were set on 1333mhz. Don't know why, but I switched it to 1600mhz and enabled XMP and scored a 7.9 on the Windows thingy. (7.7 before I installed these sticks) Did you find this review helpful? They hardly throw off any heat at all! This works just as good as normal corsair vengeance, and it fits under my hyper 212 evo (this cooler can occasionally cover ram slots depending on it's orientation) Cons: Not flashy? This isn't a con for me, but some people love showing off their hardware, and these plain, small black DIMMs aren't the prettiest. Only an issue if you're into sexy-looking builds. Just look at the picture and see for your self. Other Thoughts: Not sure how it fairs under overclocking, as OCing ram gives barely any noticeable results. Did you find this review helpful?
