Friend has same ram in his intel board, instantly knew to run it at 1600. Great ram, Hope it never lets me down. Would've preferred Low profile sticks, but at $52.99 its a great buy. Cons: none Other Thoughts: Is the heatsink really necessary for stock speeds? Gets in the way of my CPU Fan on MSI board :( Getting 2 LP sticks of another ram (same specs diff brand) that was on sale to fix that :P Did you find this review helpful? New machine (certainly not my first build), first boot was with one stick installed and the second stick was added after installing OS. Computer didn't boot when second stick was installed. Tried switching sticks and booting with only the "bad" stick. Wouldn't boot. Now I'm running with 4GB instead of 8GB and either have to package up and ship BOTH sticks back (can't just replace one) and I would rather not have to deal with the wait time, or buy both sticks new, or just settle for 4GB. 50% probability of getting RAM that works is lousy. I got my set awhile back for $39.99. Cons: Not the greatest for overclocking. I prefer G.Skill for that.
