5 out of 5 eggsWish it had

Pros: These are an excellent value. They have performance, pizzazz and product proven persona. When I popped these into my grand daughter's system, changing it from a 3 to an 8 gb performer it was as if she had a new machine.

Cons: Unfortunately, these were not purchased for my granddaughters machine, but were chosen for my son\s based on the promise from the G.Skill Rep. stating that these would work in any computer that was both DDR3 1333 and capable of 4gb per slot. As it turned out this set did not work with my son\s at all. Major disappointment on his birthday. I will put in an RMA with Newegg and based on their reputation feel that a return will be no problem.

Other Thoughts: I will speak to G.Skill directly for guidance as I will get the next set from them, I've never had a problem with their memory before...quite the contrary. This was just a fluke I'm sure.

5 out of 5 eggsRippin' it up!

Pros: These things work as they should and look good doing it.

Cons: I don't know - how about "You still have to pay for them, they're not free."

Other Thoughts: I bought a set of these maybe four years ago to bump from (2x2GB) to (2x2GB + 2x4GB). Recently one of the 2GB's started causing BSoD's so I picked up another set of 2x4GB Ripjaws to get a total of 16GB. Skinny money, under sixty bucks for 8GB. When I bought my first computer ('94), RAM was $50 per MEGABYTE. At those prices, this (unfeasible at the time) purchase would have cost me $400,000. Ram prices have dropped nearly 99.99% in just over 20 years. Now get off my lawn!

1 out of 5 eggsIncompatable

Pros: Heatsink, great reviews

Cons: Incompatible

Other Thoughts: I bought this 1333 RAM and was unable to get my computer to boot past the BIOS into the OS. RAM worked fine in my neighbor's computer, and his DDR3 4GBx2 (8GB) 1600MHz RAM worked perfectly in mine. Thinking it was the frequency, I bought the same model, but in 1600...unusable too. I checked all the timings, voltage, and re-checked my motherboard compatibility. I also used the XMP profile that came with my motherboard to no avail. I will never be buying G. Skill again.

5 out of 5 eggsNinja!

Pros: I've had these installed in my Hackintosh (GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 mobo) for over three years and never had one memory related problem. In fact, I have G.Skill RAM installed in all my machines and they've always been solid.

Cons: I can't use them as ninja throwing stars.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great ram, well the 4gb i could use

Cons: Only 1 stick purchased worked, at first i thought it was my PC, so i went and bought a new mobo, still didnt work, took it to a friends house, still didnt work

Other Thoughts: If both of my cards worked i wouldve gave it 5 stars, but alas it didnt.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer

We apologize for the inconvenience. It is strange a module did not work properly. Please send the memory in for RMA exchange and a replacement should work much better. This is a great plug and play memory kit that should work well in most DDR3 systems that support 4GB modules. With 8GB, the computer should be nice and smooth during multi-tasking, gaming, video streaming, and so forth. You will be very pleased with the new kit. For any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Thank you
