5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM

Pros: 8GB at 1600 with tight timings
Easy to install and set up on my Motherboard (Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This pair of RAM was on sale when I got them, $59 I believe. If you see them on sale again grab them!

5 out of 5 eggsIts good

Pros: It had good speed for the price. Its quick enough and plentiful enough for a HTPC.

Cons: I was using this in a Silverstone MILO case with a Zalmann 110mm fan. I had to do some mods to the heat sinks on the memory. This is not a problem for me, but if you do not like doing this, look for something with a little less heat sink.

Other Thoughts: Its good just make sure its for you.

5 out of 5 eggsGo USA

Pros: I manage to get this to a cas 6 (cas 8 or 9 boxed) stable for days with alot of good timing; however, deemed unnecessary for lack of noticeable speed unless running bench marking programs. regular and gaming use was still fast. This is very stable Ram. They make this in the Colorado, GO USA. Support will be a breeze whenever this break... if ever. Most other company are made where english is a second language and support hard to understand with their rich accents. BTW i am Asian/American

Cons: The Price is high but if it break and least you have good customer service to relay to and very fast shipping. RMA is usual fast and decent from what i hear from Newegg. It is twice the price of Gskill with the same bench mark when it was compared on tomhardware.com

5 out of 5 eggsDependable? YES!

Pros: This memory was worth the buy. I wanted to buy the Mushkin Enhanced Redline the kind where it had a higher heat spreader to dissipate the heat. But this works for me! This is a must grab the cas latency is incredible. Top line memory for top quality.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I want to buy another pair!!!
I had some issues getting into the mobo but it was the mobo itself. Very durable, at one point in my build I thought I had broke it.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat product

Pros: works great, advertised timings, speed, no issues with stability, heatsinks are firmly in place

Cons: have a hard time overclocking to 1866 speeds, but that comes with the territory, got to do more research

Other Thoughts: bought this for $130 a year ago, so $70 dollars seems like a steal for a product like this

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin For The Win

Pros: This is my first set of Mushkin RAM and I have to say that I am very pleased. They impressed me visually. I popped them into an pro gen3 and the stock timings were correct right off the bat.

They fit under a Zalman 9500 heatsink.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I will definitely be buying Mushkin products going forward. In fact, I bought the ridgeback's for a new build yesterday.

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin wins again.

Pros: Pro? Mushkin is the best ram there is.
Want to punish some ram? This can take it.
Want reliable ram that wont fail? This is it.
Want something in between? A mild overclock that wont make you worry about damaging your product? Here it be my friends. I Memtest'ed and other laborious tasked this ram to death, and it laughed at me and called me a sissy. I love Mushkin Ram. I have them now running at tight timings, no overclock, and I can touch them with my fingers.

Awesome ram.

Cons: A little pricey I guess? But this is literally once of those instances where you get what you pay for, so that Con is arguable. Every ram chip now has a lifetime warranty but.... Mushkin not only has the best support, but youll never need it.

Other Thoughts: Bought a new rig, scared to heckenback when I get the short post code, followed with random boots with the ram @ crazy timings, voltage, and clock speeds. Turns out the board was bad and had a short in its Molex "graphics power" input. (BIOware 990FXE) tested the ram in my wifes setup, made it out unscathed. Underneath the GEMINII Coolermaster cooler the ram performed amazingly for its short cameo on that trash board. I reccomend that cooler if you want to cool your ram as well as your CPU considerably and effectively without paying 100+ dollars. Stick with gigabyte motherboards and Mushkin ram kids, that isnt a fanboy quote but years of results and no RMA nonsense.

Awesome Ram. Just awesome.

2 out of 5 eggsNot sure how I feel about these

Pros: They look nice?

Cons: Got 2 bad sticks, purchased these Redlines because my 8GB of OCZ would BSOD from cold boot.

So I was not happy to get more sticks of bad ram...Took a little over a week to get 2 new sticks. I had backup ram, so I can't complain...Ran some cheap samsung DDR3 in the meantime. The 2 new sticks are BSOD free. At first my computer would BSOD once to twice a day...eventually it got so bad it wouldnt last 45min to an hour without getting a Blue screen. Took these redlines out and put them into the HP upstairs and within 30minutes BSOD. I just have bad luck with ram or something.

Other Thoughts: To be honest I would have been better off with cheaper sticks

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome! and a question

Pros: I'm using this with my Phenom II works great! slightly overclocked. no complaints at all!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I am going to be upgrading to a i7-3930 x79 will this be compatible??

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings!

This part should work just fine with X79. We will also be releasing an X79 quad-pack under part number 993981.

Thanks!
