Lifetime warranty?
- Pros: Worked for a couple months.
- Cons: It suddenly stopped working after a couple months of light use. Verified in other card readers and on other computers. RMA was sent back to me a few weeks later, broken in half... Transcend says that's how they received it... warranty void. DEFINITELY not how I sent it! And I don't see how it could have split like this in shipping, in it's hard plastic case, in the retail packing.
- Other Thoughts: Waste of my money. I guess if this only happened to me, and never happens again, you're chances are good. But I had to relate my experience, in case it happens often and I'm not the only one.
Bad experience will prevent me from buying Transcend in the future, with no faith in their "Lifetime Warranty."

Rosewill SDHS multi card adapter (usb 2.0)

- Other Thoughts: sustained 670MB single file transfer in Vista 64 Ult. :
write (average): 8.1MB/sec (no burst)
Total time to transfer file on write: about 83 seconds.
read: 17.5MB/sec immediate xfer for 10 seconds. Burst to 32MB/sec.
read (average): 27.3MB/sec
Total time to transfer file on read: about 25 seconds

- Pros: It's an 8 Gig card, enough for a ripped DVD movie.
- Cons: The adaptor never worked, I have to used another one.
For $16, not worth RMA......

- Other Thoughts: These are tiny cards! I'm just glad I got the SDHC adapter with it to store it somewhere when not in use, or else I'd lose it!
