Cons: Read and write speeds are around 200mb/s and 150mb/s write. When purchasing this I didn't expect 500mb/s But I also didn't think speeds would be half of the "potential" speed. Faster load times Cons: After first installing, crystal drive mark benchmark scores were seq read 224 MB/s seq write 175 MB/s. Far less than specified max speeds. after installing software the marks went down to 220 MB/s and 110 MB/s. My Seagate barracuda 1TB drives in mirrored array score 76 MB/s and 177MB/s. Other Thoughts: Windows experience index score 7.7 are the only numbers I'm happy with. Am considering buying a PCIe adapter to try and get performance levels up. also considering buying a better SSD. But for now I don't feel that I wasted my time or money. Cons: None Other Thoughts: I like a good deal but why get an SSD drive that's not in the top tier of speed? That IS the only reason to get one! This has the best price vs. speed ratio I could find lately. Got it with a $20 rebate making it under $75!!! Anything close to this price has transfer rates at half this drive's speed. Pros: + NAND toggle mode + SATA 3 + Excellent price + Excellent SandForce controller. read the reviews/capabilities. Cons: - None. Other Thoughts: Absolutely fantastic NAND-based SSD. The only competition will be coming from Samsung's 830 line, and Crucial's M4 line. While they're also excellent, they're in a different price bracket.
