4 out of 5 eggsgreat camera cards

Pros: had two cards of the same model before. Once they went back on sale i had to snag two more. Although theyre not the fastest cards in the world, they will keep up with me in a 60D and a 7D canon DSLR. Dropped one in the water at the beach during a shoot, stuck it in my pocket to dry, and downloaded about 1100 pics when i got back with no issues. Hope your luck is as good as mine whith these!

Cons: could be a bit faster but with the price (on newegg with a promo code) and durability i cant ask for much more without doubling the price.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect SDHC Card

Pros: Awesome fast SDHC card for my Sony HDR-CX190 Camcorder. The rated speeds are close to top notch and the card is made for even more demanding camcorders than what I'm currently using. With read and write speeds approaching 45 Mb/s, this makes my camcorder the bottleneck which only requires a class 4 card or 4 Mb/s write speed but that extra speed is extremely useful for moving pictures/videos between the computer and camcorder. 32Gb of space also seems plenty for the average casual user for my camcorder. I recommend this card if you have a high bit rate when capturing video or capturing a lot of photos in a short amount of time.

What is also nice is the lifetime warranty which makes it all the better.

Cons: None really except for the price. The price seems reasonable however though you can find 32 GB SDHC cards around 20 dollars or so but the extra 10 dollars is there for the very nice speed.

Other Thoughts: Pairing this card with my camcorder is a bit overkill as I will probably never use up all the high speed on the flash memory but it's good for future proofing and I could possibly use the card for other applications such as the Raspberry Pi or other electronics in the near future.

4 out of 5 eggsClass 10 vs Canon HF200 HD Video Camcorder

Pros: The Canon HF200 & the HF20 Camcorder works fine in the XP+ setting or lower. I also have a Canon FS100 SD Camcorder and the card works in all modes.

Cons: The Canon HF200 & the HF20 needs a firmware update Version 1.0.5.0 for this Class 10 card to record movies in the two highest quality HD settings (MXP & FXP) You have to ship it to a Canon Factory Certified Service Center for a free of charge firmware update. You pay the shipping charge to them. The class 10 card was non existent when this camera was made in 2009. If you set the camera in MXP or FXP it will not record. Your supposed to be able to check the camera's firmware version in the menu settings but this is not true on mine. I should have stayed with the class 6 flash card.

5 out of 5 eggsNice SD Card

Pros: I use this card in my digijet dash cam, it works great for recording high def video of dim wits on the road. Using my Pro-57U USB 3.0 card reader, videos copy to my hard drive a little over 45 mb/s. Works as it says it does!

Cons: None at all!

Other Thoughts: Sure, they send me a 10% off email for this card after I buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory card for Canon T3i

Pros: Love this card. My Canon T3icame with a no-name "Class 10" 8GB card in the bundle, and would always show "saving images" if I took a burst of shots or was recording Large+Raw. If I was actively shooting and shut the camera off, it would take 5-10 seconds to finish saving the camera buffer to the card. I got this SanDisk Extreme and haven't once seen that message on the screen. It will save pictures as fast as the camera can take them, and records 720p@60fps and 1080@30fps just fine. No issues whatsoever. As to actual speed...I don't know if it's what they rated it or not, but for what I need it for, it is plenty fast.

Cons: None. Would have been neat if they included a USB reader, but I knew it didn't when I ordered it.

Other Thoughts: The extreme pro's may be faster, but this card handles Raw+Large pictures from my 18MP camera (38MB per picture) just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsIt DOES Perform Up to Specs

Pros: This particular card (32 Gb, UHS-I, 45 Mb/sec) does indeed perform up to specifications. I recently built myself a new computer, so all of my components have USB 3 capabilities, including my motherboard and the Rosewill USB 3 internal card reader. The card reader is connected directly to the motherboard (I believe it's 20 pins). Anyway, when I *move* (i.e. NOT copy) files off of my card onto my computer, it transfers between 39-42 Mb/sec. which is essentially the stated specs from SanDisk. However if I copy files off of the card it's slower, down to maybe 25-30 Mb/sec. This is normal as far as I know. Also I have not extensively tested write speeds to the card (when's the last time you moved stuff onto your camera? :D)

Cons: It doesn't take the photos for me :(

[kidding]

Other Thoughts: Everywhere I go to look at the reviews for this card, there is always a few people who complain to no end how the card "doesn't perform up to specs." It honestly does (in my case at least), and I've certainly been happy with it. I can now shoot over 1000 raw photos on my D7000 (keep in mind it has a 16 MP sensor). For the people complaining they are not getting the advertised speeds: Try moving the files off of the card, it should go faster (yes, it's less secure in case you computer crashes then you lose the data), and check that there are no other bottlenecks in other parts of your computer (e.g., I have not tested unloading the card through a USB 3 PCIe expansion card).
