5 out of 5 eggsBEST of the BEST

Pros: I only buy INTEL for one reason. QUALITY. They simply work. You can take a chance and try to buy one cheaper. And at 500+ megabit read/write speed, is there really as faster speed option needed. Do your research. I have 5 INTEL ssd's in a netbook, two laptops , and a desktop, with never a problem in any of these computers.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Intel ssd's are really a "no brainer". Just buy.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: First thing to do was to test this baby out. Connected as external to my laptop that has a Cherryville 520 Series 120 GB SSD installed and running. Then tried copying files back and forth to see how fast this thing would run. Speed writing to the 180 GB drive was normal around 140+. But when I tried to write it back, the loading screen popped in and out in a blink of an eye... O.o 750 ish MB/s?? Mind blown!!

Cons: Nothing!

Other Thoughts: Buy this series of Intel drives!

5 out of 5 eggsMysecond one

Pros: This one replaces a 120 GB on my main.
The first one was on an old HP DV7 1130us which is now super.
I used the cloning soft without any problem on all conversions, including the cloning from 120 to 520 GB.
Not a single glitch.

Cons: The price!

Other Thoughts: On second thoughts, when I read the reviews of the competition, I think this was well spent money....

5 out of 5 eggslightining fast

Pros: I just wrote a review on the 335 series intel ssd.

i will sum up everything in this review.

ssd is crazy fast.

it is very light and has less heat.

it has wonderful mounting options. side screws and bottom screw holes.

the package comes with everything you need to make it work, sata 6 cable, 3.5 to 2.5 converter, love it.

the only difference between this 520 series and the 335 is the rated speeds both in the read and write and on the 4k iops. i bought this 520 series for my OS and programs drive to make everything nice and quick. it does exactly that. love it.

blinding speeds, it takes longer for my system to post beep than it does for windows to boot. and post isnt even that long.

i am exceedingly happy with switching to ssd for my OS and programs drive, adobe cs6 opens so fast i soil myself.

now i am impatient when using a computer with a spinner hdd and have to wait for the disc to spin up and then start to send data.

dont be fooled by people saying the write cycles are less than spinning hdds and all that jazz. with some simple research you will see tests that show the write cycles of an ssd are just as long or on pare with bearing life of a spinner hdd.

there are sometimes that things fail quickly or right out of the box, its life rma and move on.

Cons: well not really a con but worth mentioning.

as with any new technology the price is high.

if you like to be on the edge of everything then price is usually not an object for you.

if your a bit cautious with your cash, wait a bit and the price will drop and you'll get to bask in the ssd speed goodness.

5 out of 5 eggsAs expected, great performance!

Pros: Fast boot times, data transfer utility worked flawlessly

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these hard drives for 2 kids laptops. As expected, the laptops boot so much faster than with the originals. Boot times are ~15 seconds when they were ~60 seconds before. The Intel drive has a better warranty than others and I am optimistic that these drives will last a very long time! Very happy with everything so far!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat SSD

Pros: I use this SSD for all my programs and games and have had no complaints or issues. Great SSD

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use an Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD to boot Windows. (One SSD for Windows, and this SSD for programs/games)

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!!!

Pros: super fast, toolbox a priceless asset

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: A bit of a pain to do a RAID 0 with ASUS x79 PRO. you have to load the RST RAID driver version 11.7 initially before windows 7 setup, any other version and the toolbox will not TRIM your RAID 0 setup. ALSO, if you load the wrong version of the RST driver, you'll have to delete the RAID and redo it, simply trying to load the 11.7 driver on top will not work seemed to be part of the issue, i guess it hangs on to the old RST driver even after deleteing and recreating the space in windows 7 setup!! I THINK disabling s.m.a.r.t. function in BIOS helped also, I tried a number of things b4 I got it going. but no s.m.a.r.t. in BIOS, clean RAID creation and 11.7 RST driver only seem to be the 3 key steps. hope this helps someone, my comedy of errors might have been the real problem, LOL!

Pros: Put in new build, no issues, OS (Win 7 Pro 64) loaded without issue
Second build using this SSD price a little higher than others but like it just works

Cons: Can't wait for prices to come down to .50 per GB

5 out of 5 eggsJUST ABOUT THE FASTEST ON THIS PLANET.

Pros: I have 2 of these in a R.A.I.D. array. That is about all I have to say. Win 8 boots in seconds with my R.O.G. Asus Maximus Gene.

Cons: Size, Price, but Price is getting better daily.

Other Thoughts: If you have the opportunity to do an array, do it. This was my first R.A.I.D. array and it did take me a few hours because of some dumb things I did, but....

WOW, you have to see this!
