Pros: Has worked well without issues for 3 years now

Cons: It was $10 more than what I had originally ordered

Other Thoughts: I initially ordered some similar OCZ RAM when I built my computer. Someone I knew said that it was a decent brand, and it was on sale. After a month, one of the sticks went bad, leading to many blue screens. The RMA process was painless, and I quickly exchanged it for another pair. This set had a bad stick out of the box.

I went through another easy RMA process and dished out the few extra dollars for the Corsair. It has worked ever since.

Pros: Great memory, fast reliable.

Cons: none

Pros: Cheap

Cons: The first DIMM crapped out on me after a couple months and the second DIMM quit working weeks after that. The entire time I had this memory in my computer has been pretty unstable. This memory is cheap junk, buy something else.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Purchased 16 packs of this ram, more than 50% fail memory tests. It's listed as 1.6v here but the sticks are labeled 1.5v. Do Not Purchase this ram. I am returning as much of it as I can.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if the mislabeling of this ram is Corsairs fault or Neweggs. But stay away from this problem.

Pros: not sure a pro is possible at this point

Cons: Lost another 2 sticks in my second system (built 2 machines) so of the 8 sticks I purchased withing a few months Im down to 3 ...sad part is Im now into the shipping to RMA this memory for more than I paid for one set.. and I still havent heard anything back on my first RMA... wont give corsair another dime.. to high of a failure rate for me...

Other Thoughts: save your money and move to another manufacture....

Pros: When they work seems ok for the price

Cons: I purchased 4 sets, for 2 pc builds (8 gigs each machine) Purchased Feb 28 built machines second week in march. during the build I had 1 stick bad out of the box, 2 died within a month. I tested both machines with memtest on initial burn in of systems after build and passed ok, but began getting page faults and BSOD after a month, 3 of the 8 sticks I have purchased failed. I purchased these in a DIY combo (Combo: 864860) and added extra memory, I verified that they where compatible with the ASUS P8H67-M PRO/CSM board.. not sure what else as a customer I could have done.. disappointed would be an understatement... won't buy corsair memory again..

Other Thoughts: I realize this is a budget memory product for them, and could live with a bad stick out of the box, but seems like a high failure rate of their product, corsair may want to re-evaluate this product line and if continuing with a product that seems to have such a high failure rate is worth losing customers over.

Pros: They WORK but they are not as advertised as my title elucidates.

Cons: These were labeled 1333MHz and 1.6V. It cannot run stable with those settings. It is listed as 1.5V and you have to set it to 1066MHz in your BIOS to get it to run stable. I initially bought 4 sticks which was fine had I knew how to install these dual channels properly as the mobo only listed how to insert 1 set of 2 but not 2 sets of 4. Over a year later I had to find that out by perusing the Corsair RAM forums. I have an ASUS X58 Sabertooth bloomfield motherboard that has 6 RAM slots. This type of memory can only be placed in the first 4 slots, NOT the last 2. Had I known this when I first built my PC, I would have order 2 sets of triple channel XMS3's.

Other Thoughts: Read up on RAM for dual and triple channel configuration. If you order modules, don't mix them as they are in numerical order and that's the way you should install them.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: I have one bad stick. This is the frist bad memory I have bought form newegg/corsair in 6 computer builds. I am so let down by corsair.

Other Thoughts: My company bought 44 sets for a project I'm working on. Have had only 3 sets fail out of the box.

Pros: none

Cons: Could not install windows - kept getting corrupted file faults. Put it in a working computer and got numerous BSOD's.

Other Thoughts: This was my first (and Last) corsair purchase!
Not worth the trouble to return it.
