I don't do overclocking, so I'm not sure how it behaves in that world. My guess is you may want to look elsewhere for memory with better cooling capabilities for extreme overclocking. I purchased for my nearly 4 year old Pentium D 3.46Ghz system so I could install Windows 7 64 bit and so far so good. I was increasing from 2GB (4 X 512MB). I was able to leave 1 GB (2 x 512MB) in one bank and use the 4 GB (2 X 2GB) in the other for a system total of 5 GB. Cons: None that I have noticed yet. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Everything is much smoother and faster. I recommend to anyone who wants great, affordable memory for a 3-5 year old computer. Cons: None so far, although it is outdated memory as there is now DDR3 RAM, which when I do my build for Christmas (this one was for my father) I will be buying much newer, nicer hardware. Other Thoughts: No problems with this memory. Drivers updated automatically and is now working 10x better than before.
