5 out of 5 eggsGreat processor for the money

Pros: Haswell goodness on a budget.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I put this processor in a new build for a friend who just needed a stable, reliable computer for normal, day-to-day use. She's thrilled with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC Cpu

Pros: Great cpu for htpc. Low power consumption and with the on board HD 4400 graphics it does a great job of playing all my media. Even the included fan is pretty quiet. Best yet it will do 23.976 playback with no dropped frames. Good investment for what I need.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome CPU!

Pros: This little chip is pretty dang impressive. Im able to run Flight Simulator X on ultra high settings (not custom max) at good frame rates even with the Intel hd 4400 graphics. The 4400 can run minecraft and other small games like that. This proccesor is pretty dang fast and with hyper threading, it makes for an awesome bang for your buck. Really quick, boots my system in less than 30 seconds. Very happy with Haswell!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This cpu is in my main build and will be part of my gaming pc. I have to wait for my gtx 750 to arrive and then it wall max everything out. (1280x1024 monitor)

Final system specs.

1 out of 5 eggsCome on. Seriously.

Pros: None that I could find. I wasn't able to use it in the first place.

Cons: Cannot be refunded. It didn't match the socket type I needed, which I overlooked, and I can't return it. Seriously, Newegg? What the heck am I supposed to do with something I can't use?

Other Thoughts: I honestly doubt I'd have any problem with it, given I could use it in the first place.
No refunds, though? Honest mistake. Let me send it back so I can buy a processor with the right socket type. You'd probably make more money that way, anyway, because the socket type I need is less common.

5 out of 5 eggsIntel's Cheap Boom Stick

Pros: Much better than any AMD that I have owned, even the 8150 8 core. It just is awesome. It's low wattage and voltage so you will never to get a bulky heatsink. Keep the stock cooler. Also, I don't need a graphics card with this chip. That saves me $200. There isn't many tasks that you can make this thing lag on. I was an AMD fan for so long and I am blown out of the water with this.

Setup
I3-4130
Gigabyte GA-H81.Amp-UP Mobo
16 gigs of DDR3 1600 Ram
2 TB HDDs
500 watt PS

I Paid $140

Cons: Buttscratcher?

5 out of 5 eggsA Nice CPU

Pros: I went from the Sandy Bridge to this one and I notice the speed increase I'm very happy with it. The motherboard is a MSI H97 Gaming 3.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsTotal Bang for the Buck!!!

Pros: Runs cool. Sips power. Hyperthreaded. Stupid cheap!
This thing holds its own in benchmarks against an old QX9650 I have in Super-Pi and Cinebench!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm using this in my HTPC coupled with a GTX 650 Ti Boost SC, on an ASRock H87 Fatal1ty board and 8GB RAM. Overkill I know for websurfing and watching streamed movies to HTPC, but it's also adequate for some light-duty gaming. I'm very, very pleased with what you get for almost nothing here!

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget spu

Pros: Used this in a build for a friend. If you aren't planning to do any overclocking and are tight on your budget, then this little baby should do the job. Pair this with a decent GPU and you should have no problem playing games on the market right now, just don't expect to push it all the way to super max settings.

Cons: No cons for the price

Other Thoughts: I always recommend to save up the money if you can to get a better CPU. Mainly because how they have been evolving lately you shouldn't have to upgrade it for a couple generations, especially since CPUs come out less frequently than GPUs

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: I put one of these into a Shuttle for my parents. It seems plenty powerful and snappy. The machine draws 15 watts on idle and 70 watts at full load using Prime95.

Cons: None. Can't comment on gaming ability.

Other Thoughts: CPU frequency throttling does not seem to affect the watt draw but allowing the CPU to throttle negatively affects the snappiness of desktop tasks and web browsing. I decided to locked CPU at full speed.
