1 out of 5 eggsLousy Fan

Pros: Not enough time to evaluate

Cons: Extremely noisy fan

Other Thoughts: My computer is on the second floor and I can hear the fan on the first floor.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Much better than my old cpu (G3220)
I play many games at super high res 21:9 while having plenty of apps open, and the 1150 handles it great.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing price to performance ratio

Pros: In terms of single threaded performance and mild multitasking, this thing tears through anything with a comparable price. Takes low power while doing it too so it's easy to keep cool.

Cons: Only 2 hyperthreaded cores, but what more could you ask for at this price? Hardly a con as it's to be expected.

Other Thoughts: This thing has easily taken on many newer games at high and ultra presets, (paired with a Radeon 6870) and handles most other tasks with ease. If you're under a tight budget, I would highly recommend this chip! Extremely hard to beat for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsCore i5? i7? nope, i3 is plenty fast

Pros: Play WoW, and World of Tanks, this CPU, along with 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM and the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card runs my system beautifully.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Forgot to include an SSD (120 gigs), talk about a powerfull budget build, approx $600 for everything and its future proof.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC

Pros: Great for certain uses such as a HTPC.
Low power consumption.
Inexpensive.

Cons: None for me.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a dedicated HTPC that I leave on 24 hours a day running Plex. It plays everything just fine, even 1080p videos without hesitating. The integrated graphics saved me from purchasing a separate video card.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but slow

Pros: The install of this processor went well.
Warning, this thing is slower than I would have thought.

Otherwise, no surprises.

Cons: The cpu flat plate is made of aluminum instead of copper.
Intel also put its prefab thermal compound on the cooler.

Other Thoughts: If you want to do any kind of realtime stuff, like elgato capture,
move upto i5 or i7.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent pricepoint

Pros: Entry level brings 4th gen tech at a good price. Haswell power savings baked in make this an excellent desktop chip.

Cons: Economy chip isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a gaming rig you should be look at an i5.

5 out of 5 eggsNice processor

Pros: What can I say, this is a great cpu, fast supports pci express 3.0 which does give some performance boost.
great hyper threaded dual core cpu just like having a quad core, works well for video encoding, editing, gaming, etc.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Very nice for the price if you want pcie 3.0 but don't want or cant buy an i5 or higher this will get the job done nicely works well with z87 and z97 motherboards.
