5 out of 5 eggsThis processor is a beast for the money!!

Pros: Cant beat it for the price if you are building a pc that needs to double as a workstation and gaming rig. believe me...I am getting stuff done FAST.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb

Pros: Absolutely no problems at installation, NOR at use. Not a big tweaking fan, so in a regular (stacked) system, it has performed above my expectations.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Somewhat low power consumption!

3 out of 5 eggsGood,but not perfect...

Pros: Fast
K model
Efficient

Cons: First chip died on me within a month. Had Intel ship me a new one... Great customer service has it price. It ending up costing me about 60 $ (exchange rate and shipping) cdn for a basicaly brand new chip.

Another point is that there is such a huge difference between the chips...Gotta have lady luck on your side to have a good chip to overclock...

5 out of 5 eggsVery happy with this CPU

Pros: I was on the fence between the 4770 and the 4670 as their core for core performance is almost identical. I decided to go with the 4770 because I could afford it and why not get that extra boost? I do not see much of a difference in games, but I rip all of my blu rays for use in a whole house media set up. The i7 is about twice as fast in these types of applicaitons!

Cons: The heat sync that is included is a joke if you care about low temps. If you are spending $330 on a cpu you most likely are picking up an aftermarket cooler as well so no eggs removed.

Other Thoughts: Never skips a beat and overclocks well (4.6 with the Noctua Nh-d14). The only time that I was able to bring this thing to its knees was running a universe exploration program and traveling at 10,000,000,000 times the speed of light on a galactic scale.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast!

Pros: This thing is a HUGE upgrade from my prior i3 processor (duh) and has given me flawless performance since day one.

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: I have this pair with...
Asus Z97-A
16GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline RAM
SanDisk Extreme II SSD
Windows 7 Pro

I am using it with a Asus Z97-A mobo and it the 5 way optimization it overclocks to about 4.3GHz with just the push of a button... which is nice since I want more performance but don't want to OC via BIOS.

1 out of 5 eggsShame on Intel

Pros: Very fast CPU. Works well for gaming.

Cons: Too bad Intel are going cheap on the IHS TIM. That stuff is garbage. I'm getting up to 92C under heavy load with a Cooler Master 212 Evo! I don't even have this CPU overclocked. All stock settings and getting ridiculously high temps.

This is utter nonsense from a 340 dollar product. Intel has gone cheap for a few series of CPU's now and that has got to stop.

Other Thoughts: I would delid this unit if it was mine. But considering I built this for a friend she doesn't want to take the chance and void the warranty.

I'm considering talking her into RMA at least, but the chances of getting a good Haswell seems slim, since they all used the same crummy TIM.

Also, for those thinking I installed the cooler incorrectly, that is not the issue. It's definitely an issue with the IHS TIM. It has all the characteristics from what I've read online. Very wildly inconsistent temps from core to core is the most common problem besides the high temps.
