5 out of 5 eggsgood processor

Pros: This processor is stable and fast for the most current needs such as youtube, web browseing, office, and has extra horsepower when needed. Of course 50+ less than the I5 for budget builds.

Cons: none so far yet.

Other Thoughts: I have built 2 workstations and 1 personal computer using this same processor and has not let me down a bit. I even have the older generation (Sandy) of this series in another build.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Owned for over a year. Great all around performance. little laggy on some high intensity games but very few. still lives with what I put it through. Intel did a good job on this one.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsExpensive for less performance

Pros: it runs cool.

Cons: This processor is about $130 and it is slower than an $80 AMD Athlon X4 740 in benchmarks it shows that the i3 3220 has about 92% of the performance of the AMD Athlon x4 740.. so why spend $50 more for a slower CPU buy AMD Athlon 740 x4

5 out of 5 eggsBang For Buck

Pros: Great little CPU. Upgraded from dual core 2.4,775 socket to this CPU and an ASRock mb and What an improvement. I have A 1st and 2nd generation in two other computers and this just maybe little better than either.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsDo not let it fool you

Pros: I have owned this cpu for over a year now.I used it 100% for gaming.i have played everything from Planet side 2,BF3,BF4,skyrim,metro,crysis..ect

It handles it all

yes it handles it all i may not achieve frames in the 70's but ive never played a game that doesnt allow me to run high settings with 30 plus fps.As this cpu may be older now it has performed wonders for me

Cons: Not a true quad

Other Thoughts: First build for gaming? Super low budget? Buy it you shall not be disappointed

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Great power, great efficiency, almost no heat.

Cons: doesnt pack as much heat as i was hoping for, but slowly gets the job done

Other Thoughts: Great for the price, i would recommend it to somebody just starting off, or just looking for a cheap web browsing processor

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for low-end computers

Pros: Runs games on low-medium around 30 FPS
Can run standard programs with little effort
Keeps relatively low temps even on stock cooler

Cons: Obviously a weaker iGPU than Haswell
Not unlocked

Other Thoughts: Bought this processor for my grandfather who enjoys playing Torchlight, which runs at or slightly under 30 FPS with shadows and AA disabled. It runs Bioshock 1 at 25 FPS on low.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU

Pros: Used in a virtualized server, ran several VMs without any hiccups. Great speeds, never gave up on me.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I am now replacing it because it lacks VT-d, but this isn't Intel's fault I just bought the wrong one going in
