Cons: None Other Thoughts: Researching comparing i5 chips for a new build. The i5-3450 and i5-3470 are priced the same. But, per Intel (http://ark.intel.com/compare/65511,68316 ) the 3470 supports some things the 3450 does not. I was so very close to spending the extra $30 and getting the 3570k but overclocking doesn't really seem like a big deal to me and I'm happy with the purchase. As a gaming rig, no game is going to max out the processor anyway and with the Intel-VT enabled I can even run 3 virtual machines at the same time in VMware Workstation and this thing is still only at 60-70% (VM's all assigned 1-Dual Core Processor). It's definitely helped me in setting up a virtual computer lab to learn and study for the certifications I'm soon to take. Cons: None - If you want overclocking then this isn't for you. Just an excellent processor for the average Computer Joe. Other Thoughts: Planning to build a Whitebox server for testing purposes soon and if this drops below $180 again, I'll be all over it.
