5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding Piece of Hardware

Pros: -Undeniably FAST
I just moved from a Phenom X6 1090T oced to 3.7Ghz paired with a Crosshair IV Formula. It's honestly kind of shameful how much the 3770K blows it away. I gained from 15-45fps in today's latest games (depending on the game) just from upgrading to this monster. Cinebench 11.5 had a score of 5.7 with the Phenom, with this I have a score of 9.06. Paired with a Vertex 4 windows boots in 12 seconds.
-Overclocks superbly
Super super easy to overclock. I bumped this sucker up to 4.8Ghz at 1.35v with no problems. I didnt mess with bus at all, I just changed the multiplier to x48. It did overclock to 5.2 but temps got in the way. (see cons)

Cons: -hot!
I have a corsair H80 with two corsair static pressure 120mm fans on this beast. At stock settings, i'tll climb to about 60c load 29-31c idle. When I overclocked it to 4.8 it shot up to 83c. lol THEN when I put this sucker at 5.2Ghz temps were off the charts at 105c. Things didnt really go to well after that. (BSOD)
I think that if you had a H100 with 4 fans on that sucker, you'd be good.

Other Thoughts: All in all, I would highly recommend this CPU to anyone that can spare the extra cash. Definitely go for the K version, you get about a 20% performance increase from a simple overclock.

System Specs:
Intel 3770K at 4.8Ghz
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H
2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600
MSI Radeon 7870 Twin Frozer
Thermaltake TR2 RX-850w Power Supply
Corsair H80 water cooler

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome CPU!

Pros: Very good desktop CPU, well worth the extra money to get the k version. Very fast even running at stock speeds. The built-in graphics are plenty fast for most users, gamers may want to add an extra video card.

Cons: This is the first Intel build for me since the Pentium 233. I wish I would have started back with Intel sooner.

Other Thoughts: Very good build with combination of Asus P8Z77-V LE Plus Motherboard and Corsair Vengeance 32G CMZ32GX3M4X1600C Desktop Memory.

5 out of 5 eggsThe intel i7 3770K is both fast and powerful.

Pros: - Cpu is great for playing a game with Skype or Ventrilo, windows media player, and multiple background processes along with mutilple web browsers open all at same time.

- Easily overclocked (with stock cooler or aftermarket cooling solution).

- It is overpowered for playing games alone but just right for games with lots of other apps running.

Cons: - Higher price than amd cpus.

- Doesn't come with a laser or halogram technology.

Other Thoughts: I first purchased a i5-2500 and it was always running at 80 percent during a game like WoW running with lots of addons, WMP and Ventrilo running.

The i7-3770K does everything running at 35% cpu ultilization. I use at all in one watercooler on my cpu and get temps at no higher than 34 degrees F under load.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: I needed this processor for an academic project that requires a lot of computing power. It runs continuously 24/7 with no issue (overclocked at 4.3GHz). More than that, I used the best system you can find on Cloud for computing power = cc2.8xlarge = Intel Xeon E-2670 @ 2.60GHz, which has 32 virtual cores ( on dual processor motherboard) I was very surprised to see that this processor, i7-3770K (with 8 virtual cores) was running at half of the speed of the 32 virtual core cloud system !!!!

Cons: The embedded graphic card was giving blue screens sometimes on Windows 7. I bought a separate graphic card and no more issues since then.

5 out of 5 eggsBest CPU for the buck ever!

Pros: For what this CPU can do it is the best dollar for dollar CPU on the market bar none.

I added a Zalman Heatsink/fan and the CPU sits around 28-30C all day long, and on high loads never gets above 45-50C. That's on air cool!

She overcloaks really well even though I was just testing.

I highly recommend this CPU even 6 months after I bought it. I bought it in September 2012 and for the price its still one of the best on the market.

Cons: The Heatsink it comes with is absolute garbage. With that said I never planned on using it anyway.

I always use Zalman Heatsink/Fans.

Other Thoughts: I still think Quad-Core CPU's are the way to go if you are on a budget and don't have $600-1000 to drop on a CPU.

Everything out there is dual-core or Quad-core written right now (2012-2013), and you are better off getting a really fast Quad-Core then a almost as fast Six-Core CPU.

That rule I think will apply throughout the rest of 2013.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Works great as expected. CPU usage a bit higher then i would of thought.

Overclocked 4.6ghz at 1.28 with the change of 2 settings.
Stays under 75C with h100i on lowest mode.

What else can i say about a 330 dollar chip thats so small.

Cons: Dont like the heat going up and down so much, clear i have 1 with tim and not solder under the lid.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU

Pros: Super fast CPU. well worth the money and overclocks without issues.

Cons: Like all Retail CPU's it comes with a decent air cooler, but if you plan on overclocking, i would recommend getting a great water cooler. I myself got the Corsair H80i water cooler.

Other Thoughts: Great CPU, if you plan on overclocking, I would recommend getting a solid Water cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsoverclocking beast it is

Pros: I went from a quad core amd 965 to this thing. Night and day difference. Super fast at stock frequencies.Wow this is a awesome chip.I love the fact that it uses very low wattage, and down-clocks when there's little to no load.It runs relatively cool on stock cooler and overclocks so easily. I love the an unlocked multiplier on a cpu and the price only makes since for this thing. I have to say, I am a fan boy for sure.Intel is unstoppable.

Cons: No cons here my friends

Pros: Amazingly Fast.
Can do a lot of multitasking and game at same time.
