5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Buy

Pros: Received this as a christmas present, and my is it fast. I used to run a phenom x2 @4ghz stock heatsink, which performed terribly at games, along with my 5570. Overclocked this to 3.3GHz stock volts, which apparently my HT link is at 250, and therefore have effectively made it a little faster than an 1100T. Paired with a GTX 650, outstanding performance in APB:Reloaded and Battlefield 3.
Phenom II X6 1045T @3.3GHz
GTX 650
8GB Kingston HyperX Blu
ASUS M4A78LT-M

Cons: BSODs at anything over 3.3GHz, gave it 1.3v at 3.8 which is plenty, and it's definitely not a heat problem as I idle at 29C on air.

Other Thoughts: If you're still on an AM3 motherboard and can't upgrade to FX/Vishera (garbage anyways) definitely go with this. Pair with a Hyper 101 heatsink and OC a little, you could max most games no problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU for the price point

Pros: -6 cores
-2.7 clock speed stock
-High overclock (have heard stable to 4.0)
-Cheap

Cons: None that I can think of. This was a great CPU for the price and it has outperformed my expectations by quite a long way.

1 out of 5 eggsBent pins...

Pros: Would be a good processor if it worked

Cons: AMD shipped a product with bent pins to me. I set up an RMA within hours of receiving the defective product and still I was unable to return it.

Other Thoughts: Where is the Quality control? It's unbelievable... I had 150$ stolen from me by AMD...

5 out of 5 eggsI Got the last one.

Pros: I could still aquire one.

Cons: Its not an 1100T

Other Thoughts: I ordered this cpu with one of those "way to big fans for your case". I plan on overclocking it to 3.3 ghz.

5 out of 5 eggsInpressive

Pros: Runs cool, easily OC'd to 3.8 with a H50. Hasn't passed 60c. Overall I'm very happy with this CPU. Sadly I didn't purchase from Newegg, picked it up at a local store.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Would definitely recommend this CPU to others and would also consider it again for future builds

5 out of 5 eggs6 CORE

Pros: This is a very fast chip i'm doing a second review below..

Cons: This is a 6 core chip so many M.B. may not read this chip you have to have a board that will read this chip as 6 core.Could be why it's not working, all Chips are pre tested before leaving the Fab.That's how you get the 3 core chips there 4 core with one bad core there ALL checked and Pre Tested.

Other Thoughts: I got this for $130 while back if it ever comes down again i will buy it again it's that good.I have it at 3.2 please lower the price. No problems at all.. true 6 core.

5 out of 5 eggslearn how to overclock

Pros: i had this chip... first off turbo is horrible horrible hoorible.. it turns your 6 core into a 3 core.. so JMZ Films was refuring to over clock 3.1 was six 3.8 was turbo "only 3cores" turn turbo off and up the fsb to 260 if your board is a 5600btu.. make sure to turn ram down to as close to stock.. that i belivieve is 3.5ghz and a score of 6.25 on cinebench

Cons: to low of a cost

Other Thoughts: buy it

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME!!

Pros: excellent multitasking capabilities. it's hard to put this CPU under a 100% load under "normal" use. If you have a MOBO that supports this chip and are looking to up grade from a dual or quad, DO IT! you won't be disappointed!

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: when i bought this CPU i also ordered the antec H2O 620 liquid cooler. with the room temp @ 21c the chip idles around 29-30c. i fired up prime95 and let it run for an hour and the max temp was 49.5c at 100% load...

1 out of 5 eggsGot ripped off

Pros: Probably a good CPU if it worked.

Cons: Did not work on my compatible motherboard.

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking of purchasing this item through Newegg.com be prepared to get ripped off. I bought this CPU from Newegg.com and installed it correctly however it did not work. After going through the trouble of getting my RMA verified and paying to ship it back to Newegg i had the same box/cpu sent back to me. They said they could not refund it because of bent barbs even though I couldn't see any.

4 out of 5 eggs3rd update still great cpu

Pros: Price, performance, 6-core good for video editing.

Cons: Price-continues to drop. Not the fastest 6 core vs 4 core Intel's Ivy

Other Thoughts: So my 3rd update to this cpu. Still performing great but seriously falls behind the new Intel Ivy cpus.
I have this auto overclock on my mb and have it at V8 settings. Constant speeds of 3.1 and peaks at 3.68 while rendering high def video files in Sony Vegas 10. Bumped it to V12 and got constant speeds of 3.2 and peaked at 3.84 but wasn't stable and froze. I'm using stock cooling so having a better cpu cooler would keep my system stable.
WEI is at 7.5. I like to keep my system set to the 'cool n quiet' settings so for the most part, it idles at 900mhz but jumps to 3.1 constant during video rendering.
I'd love to get the new Intel IVY cpu's just to compare but I don't feel like spending $400 on a cpu and mb...this is why this cpu is a huge bang for buck, lower price awesome performance.
